Character Introduction - Tea, about Ryu:
"Ah, Ryu... our little ray of sunshine. I like to call them UN:defined's good luck charm because good things just seem to happen when Ryu's nearby. They're energetic and optimistic, almost childlike at times, but I wouldn't want anyone else to be our leader. They possess a shocking emotional maturity for their age, and I find myself relying on them more than I'd like to admit. I owe a lot to them, and I hope to have many more pleasant experiences working with them from here on out."
Known for his eloquent speech and polite mannerisms, Tea comes off as calm and mature, if not a bit reserved. While he generally keeps to himself in most professional settings, he is known to show a much more fierce, passionate side of himself when performing.
Especially observant of others' behavior, Tea often acts as a responsible, motherly figure to those he's close to. He can pick up on subtle changes in a person's tone of voice and body language, which makes him skilled at both empathizing with others and solving conflicts between people. He is also a bit a worrywart, constantly fussing over his friends' wellbeing. Though his nagging may remind some of an overbearing parent, he only means well.
Beneath the surface, Tea has a deeply distorted image of his relationships with others, which causes him to act wary and guarded even among his closest friends. Despite this distance he imposes on himself, he desperately tries to make himself useful to people in fear of being abandoned. He has severe anxiety and occasionally has dissociative episodes, but he tries his best to not show any weakness in front of others.
Tea is unaccustomed to many forms of affection and gets easily overwhelmed when others dote on him. Despite this, he deeply appreciates meaningful contact with others, and will even initiate contact himself when feeling especially comfortable.
