Gonna be the brother to Arkaisoo I cry

The tattoos on his body are marks of dignity and honor, after completing missions/saving/progressing the kingdom, etc. Arkalysoo has earned more honors and has more kills than even his own father. If a tattoo is marred by a scar/mark/anything of the like, it is incredibly important that they redo the tattoo. The tattoos are never to be broken. 

"Ark" is the Royalty name, the dignifying term for born royals, of any generation. Their middle name is their own, so in this case, Lay, but the last name is the name of whatever royal family is currently in power, so "Soo" in this case.
So Ark-Ai-Soo, his brother, without dignifying terms or royal last names, his name is Ai (aye)

Ark-Lay-Soo, his name would just be Lay without dignifying terms. Only royals or higher ranking warriors/royals may refer to them by their undignified names.

Arklaysoo has been looking out for his younger brother for his whole life, their society is heavily based on the skills and marks of being a warrior. His younger brother has never believed in their values and refused to take on his first assignment, an assassination of a group rallying against the kingdom. Those who refuse their missions are not worthy as a warrior, and therefore there is no purpose for them in the kingdom. As the son of the king, the king could not afford the kingdom discovering his son's worthlessness, so instead of exile, voted in turn for a private execution. Arklaysoo, took the mission for him, hoping to spare his brother from his father's wrath and save his life- he succeeded. At that point, he began to take all of his brother's missions in secret, earning more warriors honors than even his father. Once it was discovered that Arklaysoo was taking on all of his brother's missions and that his brother had earned no warriors honors in his life, his father ordered the execution of Arkaisoo. In an attempt to rescue his brother, he murdered his father to stay the execution and save the kingdom from his tyranny. But it was too late, the execution was already known by the counsel and they were going through with it. All he could do was take his brother to the edge of the kingdom and help cast him down to the earth below, casting his essence out of his body, resulting in a falling star. He fell to earth, far from the aid of his brother. Arklaysoo continued to watch over him though, relieved when Fahmwalay crafted a clay form for him and saved him. 

For years, he ruled as the new king, the kingdom unaware of the reason behind his father's passing. Though Arklaysoo had turned the kingdom around, ending the assassinations and meaningless wars and bloodshed, the rallying forces outside their kingdoms still wished to over throw him. Unable to over power the kingdom, they turned to blackmail, stealing Arkaisoo's essence away from his clay body, ripping him away from Fah. They threatened to kill Arkaisoo and revealed to the kingdom about the previous king's passing. Having no choice, he bartered with the group, saving his brother with the help of Fah and Aash. Exiled from the kingdom, Arklaysoo was forced down to the realm below as well, Aash taking his essence and placing it into the deceased body of one of her creatures (earning him his tail and certain powers rip).
