Marley is an upbeat and positive person who's always out to lend a helping paw to anyone in need. He finds purpose in making things around him better, and won't hesitate to learn new skills in order to make that happen. He's openminded, and rarely bothered by much (other than others being cruel), and he's highly relaxed and caring towards most anyone he meets. He's rarely seen with anything but a smile on his face and he tries to be optimistic no matter how rough things might seem to be. If not for himself- than to lift the spirits of others.

He does tend to get very hyperfocused on his work- especially if he has a project, sometimes becoming so tunnel-visioned he forgets his manners or accidently ignores or looks over things. He is always- of course, apologetic, but he has trouble seeing the bigger picture when something in particular has his entire focus. Likewise, he's not a very good multitasker. (Though you can rest assured- any job he's working on- will be done to perfection!)

He can get frustrated at his own failures, though he doesn't mind the failures of others. He's his harshest critic and if he feels like he hasn't done enough to help people or he feels like something is amiss, he'll work tirelessly to rectify that situation to the best of his abilities. He hates making mistakes and as such- can be a bit of a perfectionist, especially in his writings and studies. 

He's greatly fascinated by world cultures- and is always open to and wanting to experience any element of a culture unknown to him. He's highly respectful of these traditions, and the more foreign to him- the better. He is a bit more of an introvert than extrovert- but is perfectly capable of being friendly and polite in reasonable doses. He likes to have alone time to work and can get a bit overwhelmed if he's put in the spotlight for too long.

He is transgendered (AFAB), but this has little bearing on his personal lifestyle. His family and close friends are supportive, and while he's open about his experience with the matter as necessary, he doesn't really bring it up and the people he tends to engage with rarely pry.

He got his degree in zoology with a minor in culture studies, and set out to travel as far and wide as he could, bringing the vast knowledge and skills he'd learned from both of his parents and upbringing with him. He's an expert in making things from nothing, and asks for nothing from those he assists rather than that they remember his kindness and pay it forward to others when given the opportunity. His parents, for their part, are fully supportive and fund his adventures as he needs- but for the most part he gets by on finances gained from the scientific resources he writes as he studies various fauna he encounters. He developed a strong fondness for birds in his college years, and specializes in avians *To some extent, but he's well rounded in his knowledge.
