The story of Aris’s life isn’t very and she likes it that way. While she was younger she traveled for a bit, but quickly found it wasn’t her cup of tea. She would much rather be among the trees and mushrooms of her homeland.
Aris grew up in a decent size tribe deep within the forest that prefer to not interact with other species unless they truly had to. She cannot remember when she started showing affinity to the darker side of nature. She was trained by a few elders that had the same affinity as her. She quickly became stronger in this sort of Druidry. Aris would spend hours upon hours walking the woods and taking to everything around her. Luckily with her Firbolg magic she had no problem doing such a thing. While she couldn’t always understand what the flora and fauna said back she had some idea.
It came as a big shock when she was asked to go out of the forest by one of the elders in the tribe. There was rumors about the flora around the entrances of the forest were getting sickly and since Aris had a strong connection to that sort of magic they thought she was the best to go. It was her coming of age test. The trip took three whole days to get where she needed to go. Once she got there, she was met with Humans who were causing the sickness to the trees with their pollution as well as their clear disrespect for the natural order of things. This was the very first time she used her abilities against an enemy in her mind. It was not a fair fight by any means. She was outnumbered and sadly at the time not as strong as she is now. She was able to slip away in the middle of the night and ran all the way home.
Aris started to take her battling training very seriously after that. Always looking to master new spells and enchantments as well as her general fighting abilities. Over time she started to notice small mushrooms start to appear along her body which came as a big surprise. She was told by an elder that it was because she was becoming so connected with Spore magic. Now she has learned to use it to her advantage.
While she hated to leave her home, Aris decided she wanted to travel the world just for a little bit to see and study more mushrooms around the continent, but she always schedules time to go back home from time to time.
