Kaleb was born on December 11th, 1907, started his life journey in the heartland of Paris, France. His formative years were spent amidst the vibrant tapestry of Parisian life alongside his parents and older sister. However, the winds of change swept the family across the Atlantic to the new world of opportunities being the United States of America, where they initially found their footing in the old city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following a period of transition, they eventually established roots in St. Louis, Missouri, propelled by the professional pursuits of Kaleb's father, whose business forged enduring connections with Marigold, forcing a permanent relocation to the city.
Subheading II.
Upon settling in St. Louis, Kaleb's world took a stark turn towards solitude and seclusion, as his parents imposed harsh restrictions on his social interactions, deeming only select individuals suitable for their lofty standards. Tensions escalated within the family, culminating in Mrs. Milton's decisive departure, taking Kaleb's sister with her and seeking refuge back in home in France, leaving Kaleb betrayed and abandoned. This abandonment compounded Kaleb's sense of isolation, propelling him further into the embrace of his father's business endeavors. It was during this period of vulnerability that Kaleb found solace and guidance form of Asa Sweet, cultivating a mentorship that unwittingly brainwashed him for future leadership within the Marigold enterprise.

He cultivated healthy and solid friendships, including one with Ivy Pepper during his tenure at university, which eventually led to his acquaintanceship with Viktor Vasko and his deep involvement with the Lackadaisy Speakeasy. It was during this juncture that both Mr. Sweet and Kaleb's father became aware of his ties to their competitor, prompting them to intensify efforts to consolidate their enterprise. Their strategy involved exposing Kaleb to the grim realities of the criminal underworld associated with bootlegging. Horrified by the revelation of his father and uncle's involvement in unforgivable activities, individuals he had once trusted implicitly, Kaleb made a desperate last minute attempt at escaping, Breaking from his familial ties and the Marigold organization, He eventually sought sanctuary and refuge at the Lackadaisy, where Viktor extended his protection. Together, they now reside, with Viktor assuming the role of guardian, shielding Kaleb from the dangers lurking within the dark world they inhabit.
Relationships
Viktor Vasko
After careful observation, it became evident that Mr. Vasko and Kaleb share a romantic relationship. Viktor was the first person to protect and take in the young Mr Milton, even before Miss Sweeney. Initially, their connection may have been more professional, driven by Viktor's desire to safeguard Kaleb. However, over time, their bond deepened through shared near-death experiences and Kaleb's persistent nature. Now inseparable, anyone attempting to harm Kaleb is destined to face unspeakable and cruel consequences at the hands of Mr. Vasko...At least they're never seen again to my knowledge.
Evelyn Sweeney
Evelyn is the first non-family figure Kaleb has encountered and has assumed a motherly role for him. She took him in after he escaped from the Maribel Hotel, fostering a close "mother-son" bond over the months they've lived together. Evelyn's protection of Kaleb poses significant risks, as she lies to Mr. Sweet on his behalf, jeopardizing her job and quality of life, She also frequently plays mediator between Kaleb and Mr Heller's quarrels which only further adds to her stress and workload, question is whether these risks are worthwhile.
Mordecai Heller
Kaleb harbors a strong disdain and hatred towards Mr. Heller, likely fueled by a bias rooted in long-standing issues between Mr. Heller and Mr. Vasko. This bias, coupled with the fact that Mr. Heller lives under Miss Sweeney's roof, leads to frequent arguments and petty fights initiated by Kaleb. Despite the evident animosity, it's been noted that Mr. Heller is protective of Kaleb, akin to his protective nature towards Miss Sweeney.
Lola Deluca
Miss Deluca and Kaleb share a close friendship characterized by shared interests such as shopping, a hobby Kaleb enjoys, and playing music together, Something Miss Deluca enjoys, with Kaleb helping her tune her guitar. Despite their differing lifestyles and incomes, they bond over common ground with their close age proximity. And Despite Kaleb's loud over-the-top personality, Miss Deluca shows saint-like patience and support, even towards his secret relationship with Mr. Vasko. Their camaraderie and close bond contrasts with the tense dynamic between Mr. Vasko and Mr. Rickaby in the background who in the meanwhile try not to kill each other, Miss Deluca seems to be his closest and most trusted confidant outside of Miss Sweeney, Probably possesses a lot of valuable intel.
Chester Woods
Mr. Woods exhibits a protective, older brother-like attitude towards Kaleb, which Kaleb seems to appreciate. They spend a lot of time together at the speakeasy, Be it drinking (with Kaleb only drinking water) or pacing the grounds and loafing about. However, it's unclear whether Mr. Woods acts as a self-appointed older brother or a bully towards Kaleb, as he often teases or physically restrains him. Mr. Vasko intervenes when Mr. Woods goes too far, showing a protective instinct. Despite their ups and downs, it's evident that they share a strong brotherly bond, similar to Kaleb's friendship with Miss Deluca.

Kaleb doesn't have a great relationship with Miss May. He's upset that she's involved in the illegal alcohol trade and runs a speakeasy. While he disapproves of her actions, he's biased because he accepts similar behavior from Mr. Vasko. Kaleb also resents her connections with Mr. Sweet and Mr. Milton Senior. Moreover, he's not happy that she initially saw him as a problem and only offered protection after Mr. Vasko vouched for him, saving him from a definitely dire situation.

Kaleb originally lived with his father at the Milton Manor which was situated on its own near the upstate side of St Louis, a large 3 floor building with many rooms, a lake, a horse stable, and over 50 acres of land completely locked away behind a marble wall and a large gate meant to keep outsiders out and Kaleb in, He soon moved in with Viktor in his loft style apartment occupying a side on Viktor's bed even before they began dating, However after the Savoys proceeded to burn down the building Kaleb now found himself renting a spot on Evelyn's couch in her rather small apartment, Viktor does not trust Evelyn due to her ties with Mordecai and Marigold, Therefore he now lives out of his car which is permanently parked in her driveway, determined to stay near Kaleb for his protection, but away from Evelyn.
