Swanwhisker is a wise and curious older cat who's primary objective is always n taking care of cats around her and doing what she can to serve and protect any souls she runs into. She is kind and generous, and more than willing to teach any cats that are open to learning. She is patient and calm, and easygoing to most pressures- even if she goes to great length to avoid conflict and arguments, she rarely engages. She finds clan politics an annoying obstacle to her ability to take care of cats who need help- but has a deep respect for tradition and spiritual connection with starclan and their words.
She is loving and passionate, and ultimately, her exile from her clan is in pursuit of protecting the kits she chose to bring into the world- and its something she only regrets in not being able to be with them afterward. She dreams of meeting them again someday, but for now answers to what she believes is a higher calling.
- She is an expert on herbs but can sometimes be a bit squeamish when it comes to wounds- its not uncommon for her to ask other warriors to help if they have the stomach for it
- She can fend for herself -hunting and even fighting if she has to, but shes as much of a pacifist as she can be and will do everything in her power to smooth over any conflict with her words.
Swanwhisker was the former medicine cat of Fernclan, living in the deep underbrush and forests below the mountains. Born and raised within the clan, she was a beloved medicine cat, excelling and carrying her clan through many illnesses. Until she was exiled following a relationship with a charming rogue who left her with two kits. She was forced to abandon them by her clan, and flee the place she'd grown up to live a life as a loner. She spent many years alone, teaching other cats as she was able to or they may be willing to listen. Trying her best to avoid conflict and stay out of harm's way.
She was astounded when she heard from Starclan again. She had deemed herself lost and forgotten- abandoned by Silverpelt, but they came to her with a message and urgings. A prophecy she was meant to carry out.
Following their call, she found herself at the shores of the ocean, uncomfortably near her old home- searching for the Shadow and the Sun. Unknowing of their reasoning, only trusting that starclan held the answers and knowing that this held the fate not only for herself- but the fate of her former clan, whom she still cared for even as an exile.

"That smarmy rogue doesn't know when to quit. He might not look like much but he's got a soul that shines bright as any cat I've ever met. I can see why Starclan was impressed."
Swanwhisker loves to give Pitchstar a hard time. She met him as a rogue and convinced him to follow the prophecy that Starclan had delivered her. While he was reluctant at first- she quickly saw why Starclan liked him. She could see through his attitude and to the honest leader that could be carved beneath it.
She acts as a guiding figure as he learns to lead, through his strifes and fumbles. And while she definitely scolds or lectures him like a kid- she actually holds a lot of respect for him and wants him to succeed.
"Oh, an absolute bird's feather. Soft and gentle with a heart as gold as her name. And more importantly- she keeps Pitchstar in check. She has a lot to learn but if anyone can do it- it's her."
The other member of the phrophecy that Starclan had given her, and the other founding member of Reefclan alongside Pitchstar. Swanwhisker sees her as an almost daughter-like figure, lovingly guiding and supporting her as she teaches her anything she asks about- whether it's about clan life, hunting, or medicinal purposes. Unlike Pitchstar- Aquagold doesn't really get that sarcastic scolding since she doesn't run her mouth in quite the same way.
Swanwhisker admires her great will to do good and help other cats.
"That kit is a fighter, and Reefclan needs that spirit more than anything right now. I know Pitchstar will guide him to be a strong and brave member of his clan"
Fishkit was a kit thrown out by twolegs when he was taken from his kittypet mother. He was adopted by the small clan, and while Pitchstar and Aquagold became his defacto "Parent" figures, Swanwhisker was a massive reason the kit survived at all. She tries not to get too attached- not because she doesn't care, but because it gives her horrid memories to the loss of her own kits and how she could never be there for them. She enjoys seeing his journey from an emotional distance. Silently proud of his accomplishments. She does enjoy telling him stories- even if he falls asleep sometimes when she prattles on too much.
"Aw now that's a she-cat with some spunk! She keeps Pitchstar on his toes- the perfect warrior to make sure he's on track. She gets fired up about protecting the clan but that's exactly what Reefclan needs!"
Swanwhisker is quite the fan of Runningroar. Where Pitchstar finds her attitude annoying- Swanwhisker just finds it delightful. Runningroar is one of the few cats who don't seem to mind Swanwhiskers ramblings and actually take them to heart and listen. Which means a lot to the old she-cat. Runningroar-for her part, is just happy to have someone talking to her at all, even if she doesn't say much in return. The two have a great deal of respect for one another. Swanwhisker has also had to break up bickers between Runningroar and Pitchstar on occasion.
