Skills Efficiency: Dr Steiner is notorious for his efficiency in coding, building and maintaining robots so much so that many are willing to pay outrageous amounts for his not so legal creations. He also has expected IT skills and knows his way around human biology.

Overall behaviour:

Ever since he was a young boy, Dr Steiner has always been quiet and reserved, seeing talking to people as nothing but a waste of time. He sees people as nothing but disgusting, filthy and dirty-minded pigs which taint the world with their existence, polluting the air like factories with their voices. Dr Steiner is an immense clean freak, constantly cleaning his work station and living areas. Due to having a human body himself, Steiner sees himself as disgusting, hating the sensation of eating and drinking, the feeling of skin against muscle, how his body constantly fails him and especially breathing in public spaces or even if another person has been nearby as he sees that then as being 'tainted'. Additionally, Dr Steiner sees himself as incredibly ugly and awful to look at due to his condition, deliberately keeping his living areas clear of mirrors.

One thing Dr Steiner likes is robots, seeing them as the perfect lifeform. How they don't need to breath, eat, sleep, clean, how they never get sick or don't even have to speak. Dr Steiner's goal is to create the 'perfect' robot to transfer his consciousness into and he will stop at nothing to achieve it.

APPEARANCE

Dr Steiner's skin is a faded tone of purple/grey due to the lack of blood in his body. He's severely underweight due to his aversion to eating and drinking, giving him a tall and lanky appearance. Steiner most frequently dresses in a white lab coat with a black jumper and black work trousers underneath, rarely wearing anything else other than what others could call hospital clothes. He has a lingering scent of rust and oil around him.

BACKSTORY

Dr Steiner inherited a hereditary disease which effects his coding, essentially causing it to break apart and glitch itself. Due to having unstable coding, Steiner suffers from a range of side effects, most clearly being physical side effects. His skin is prone to bruising and his messed up coding causes his skin cells to die at a rapid pace, often causing his skin to fall right off, exposing muscle. To prevent this, Steiner staples and stitches his skin together, yet has to constantly peel back chunks of too far gone pieces and patch himself up with skin grafts. Another side effect is constant pain due to his body failing, Steiner constantly coughs and has pains all over his body, struggling to breath often and having to rely on oxygen masks. Before Dr Steiner joined Dr Ivanov's laboratory, he was inches away from death due to his organs beginning to rot, however, Dr Ivanov was able to create a serum to reverse the effects just long enough.

Seeing as Ivanov was capable of incredible biological feats, Dr Steiner decided it'd be best to work alongside him until he can create the perfect vessel, even if he didn't like Ivanov as a person.

NOTES

RELATIONSHIPS & OPINIONS

Dr Ivanov: "I don't like him, a person, an octopus, whatever he is. As long as he leaves me alone and does his thing, I couldn't care less if whatever's eating his brain takes over,"

Dr Pale: "She's quiet at least,"

Dr Burford: "He tried to get into my resting area one night, I'd locked the door. Why was the handle wet when I woke up,"

Nier: "Don't talk about that thing to me,"
