On the surface, Aina is physically weak as she was never too fond of personally fighting other people, rather she prefers to have someone else fight for her. She may even seem to be a coward as she avoids direct conflict; she'd rather just watch and enjoy the show for the most part. At first meeting, her nature can be rather energetic, bubbly and rather exaggerated (expressive) for a girl her age.
However beneath her exterior, she is rather deep. Aina has a strong will and intellect. Despite her incapabilities to fight physically, using her mind and way of words, she is willing to manipulate others to do as she wishes.
But because of having rather catty personality, Aina doesn't mind toying with other's emotions and feelings out of her own enjoyment as she is rather amused when others react to her words and actions.
Her words - even her appearance - tend to be deceiving, as she's cautious and careful to share her true dark intentions and thoughts, masking and sugarcoating words if needed when it comes to talking with others. Aina is one of the twins daughters of the Sugimoto family, the younger fraternal sister of Akimitsu. Her home is small but large enough for her family of four. However Aina's parents have been frequently absent from her and her sister's life. Of course Aina didn't mind it all as long as they made up being gone so long by bringing home gifts.
However to fill up the missing void in her life she found amusement elsewhere. She was a wily yet a social girl known to be playful among the villagers as she frequently got into trouble due to her pranks and teasing remarks. Her sister ends up saving her butt over these several events even being framed on some cases, as Aina wanted to escape punishment.
But as the girl grew older, she found the small pranks not as satisfying anymore and Aina didn't want the fun to run out and now searches for something bigger in store.
