Ray ☀️

History

Being a synthetic terralien, Ray was born empty. With no objective in life, pointlessly existing as an empty canvas, all they could do was stare up at what floated above them. They were very closed off and introverted, they felt as if they couldn't fit in with the rest of the terraliens. In those depressing moments, the passing of the soft gentle clouds comforted them, gave them hope. They never connected to any critter they had come across, they desperately wanted to take care of something but the burden of carrying an actual life in them was too taxing. The deep desire to want something lead to them pushing their life essence to replicate the thing that had brought them the most comfort: the clouds they had above. They were always fascinated by them: their frivolous nature, their constantly changing shape and size, their mysteryious properties. They felt something spark in them as a strong connection was made. Their visor felt full and whole. The clouds no longer felt like something so distant and unobtainable, but like home. This new change lead to them becoming a bit more open and willing to talk to others, however the hostility from other terras wasn't gone. Synthetic terras were always stygmatised due to their inorganic critters being made from life. They're always seen as leeches, because that life could be going to something greater. Ray was affected by this, however they found a few other terras that they could stick to. They've always been clingy to their friends, seeking out affection and companionship from those who are willing to accept them. Currently, they live in a small house, somewhere in the countryside. They love the quietness that comes from there. As much as they seek out friendship, they'd also enjoy something more than that. Will they ever find love?

Personality

Ray tends to be shy with people they don't know. They're introverted and don't tend to speak much. However, whenever they're with friends they tend to open up more. Due to the long time they spent alone and secluded, they tend to cling to the first people that actually consider them a friend. They're sensitive but they struggle to express emotions in public, they'll usually be more expressive in a private setting or with friends.

Appearance

Ray is a limited terralien that has a fully pink body. They have a pair of long cat-like ears with light creme colored insides and pawpads on both hands and feet of the same color. They have a glass visor that looks like it has a sky inside, filled with clouds. They have a white visor mouth. They have a dark blue metallic visor band with a cloud shaped icon. On their body there is two round openings that feature clouds like their visor, and a text-shaped black marking that can change to any sentence. They have a long fluffy pink tail. Optionally, they can have a pair of wings.
