Liz is a cautios, rational, calm-minded person, who hates to rely on others. She will take matters into her own hands if she can. While she does have confidence in her skills she also knows her limits.

Backstory/ Childhood
Liz grew up in an orphanage after she lost her parents. She isn't quite sure what happened there, they might've abandoned her, they might've died in an accident. She had a rather rough childhood, trying to never show any sort of weakness, keeping her problems to herself, never cry and so on, in order to keep a strong image in the minds of the caretakers as well as the other children. She would often get into fights with the other orphans, which let to her being unwanted, not finding a family willing to adopt her until she grew up.

As she never had anyone to talk to about personal things, no mother figure, no father figure, she reached out to the next best thing. Friends. However those friends where rather shady and before she knew it she was part of a criminal gang. A senior member noticed her talent for throwing knives and somehow he convinced her to become an assassin. She was fine with her situation. She felt more at home in the gang than she ever felt in the orphanage. She liked the people there, she didn't mind her shady job as the people she hurt were never close to her and it would make her friends happy. She was strong and of good use for them.

One day however due to a mission she attended a party. She had business with a person she'd meet there. On that party out of habit she started observing the visitors. One girl specifically caught her eyes. From the conversations with and around her she gathered her name was Charlotte and she was the daughter of a rich and influencial family. She was stunningly pretty, at least in Liz eyes and she dealt with all the people approaching her like expected from someone of her caliber. Curious Liz followed her in the shadows after the party to find out a bit more about her. To her surprise however, Charlotte's expression and behavior changed entirely as soon as she thought she was alone. Liz could see how anxious she must have been dealing with all these people. Silently she watched her tear covered face from the shadows, while she made the desicion to watch over her a bit from now on.

Liz met Charlotte on a number of occasions. She'd elegantly draw people away from her by starting conversations with those approaching her, trying to help her from the background, doing simple things to make her life better basically. However soon something would shatter her plans. One of her surperiors in the gang decided to make an influencial man sign a specific deal. To make sure he would sign it, the surperior decided to get a hostage.
The man he wanted to blackmail happened to be Charlotte's father. The hostage would be Charlotte. And the Kidnapper none other than Liz. As Liz viewed the gang as her family of sorts she told herself to just go through with it. Who was this girl anyway? They never talked, they never got to know each other, why would she care. This is what she told herself as she went through with the plan and captured Charlotte.

She felt bad for doing it. Charlotte seemed incredibly scared and cried like crazy... Well no surprise there, after all she was just kidnapped and furthermore, Liz knew how anxious she could be even talking to people. Liz tried to calm her down as they arrived in the hotel room meant for her. It seems Charlotte recognized her, which made it a bit easier. None the less it took a lot of talking to calm her. Liz insisted towards her surperiors that Charlotte should get only the best of treatment, which might have helped as well.
Charlotte ended up staying for quite a while, starting to enjoy her life as a hostage. The treatment she received was really great and the best part was of course Liz company. The assassin spent a lot of time talking to charlotte while she was held there and in the meantime they became pretty good friends. Charlotte's situation there might've been better than it would ever be at her home. However she was worried about her family, she didn't like the idea of supporting a criminal organization so as Liz surperior started playing with the thought of keeping her and demanding some more things from her family, Liz talked him out of it. And they decided to let her go.

After this whole incident, it was hard for Charlotte to leave the house, since her parents were incredibly worried about her after her kidnapping. Originally she would've been fine with it, however there was one thing, she wanted to do. To meet Liz again. True, she kidnapped her but she was a nice person. Charlotte knew Liz never intended to hurt her. She wanted to meet her again. She learned to sneak out of the house for that reason. After a few of these meetings the two of them eventually started dating and became a couple. Of course... Keeping it secret from Charlottes family as well as the gang.
If they found out Liz was dating the daughter of an influencial family, the gang would use that. And Charlotte wouldn't have an easy time with that.
