Liam Tekniikka

Liam is the first member we meet in person. Cocky and proud, he brags about being the one sent down to stop the rebellion, after pretending to be scared of the subjects. Liam is the main source of technology development, construction, repair, and maintenance, deriving from his fear of technology. After his quick handful of panels and his feature in the animation [005], we see that the other members don't really care for him, since he's a stuck-up know-it-all.

Liam's fear of technology allows him to handle cords and mechanical arms that help him in the [005] fight. He could have had a decent victory in this fight, but he was too faithful in his abilities: 005 manages to amplify their own power with a tazer, and once struck by one of the mechanical arms, the overflowing electricity overwhelms what is left of the generator, causing an explosion that destroys almost everything in the room and weakens the core structure, taking Liam and 005 with it.

Due to his death, I'm willing to release more information about who Liam was:

He was actually very smart; before Kidutus, he dove into education and knew quite a bit, but this led him to have a "holier than thou" personality. His fear of technology derived from the belief that robots, technology and such, would eventually replace any need for all the education and skills Liam had learned, leaving his self-made status useless. 

Extra Trivia:

• Liam is the only member created by the author without a Finnish name at this point. This is because the author - well, had a little bit of a grudge against a person in her life with a similar personality to the Liam in the comic. Who was also named Liam. Hence, the name.
• Liam's introduction is one of the first moments where we see Iris's future ability in action. While others are talking, Iris sees Liam's mechanical arms bursting through the door. After Iris silences her friends, the future changes, showing Liam coming through the door instead, unsuspecting.
• Liam was, in fact, going down to try and fix the generator, which 005 had busted in the first place. He had been warned of the risks of the rebels being there, but he had been confident he could handle them easily.
