Buck

The protective older brother of Breeze. More short-tempered and active compared to the norm for his subtype of facet, though the Beaufoy family simply blames it on the fact that he was raised around more of the stubborn Karat-subtype facets which contributed to his more challenging attitude. He likes to act as a leader of the herd and keep the rest in line. Also unlike the norm of his subtype, Buck is always more than willing to allow the Beaufoy family to harvest his gemstones since he feels it weighs him down too much to let it grow, considering he needs to keep agile to quickly move amongst the rest of the herd and manage the rest of the facets well. The gems that form on his back are an extremely rare; black diamond which Buck takes pride in as he is always praised greatly by the Beaufoy family when they are able to harvest some of these precious gems off his back.
