Backstory: Sunflower was born in the sandwing kingdom, her mother was a sandwing leafwing hybrid named Acacia and her father was a sandwing named Hyrax. Sunflower grew up in a small sandwing village, close to the rainwing border. When Sunflower got older they moved to possibility for her father's job, she met an older mudwing who was a jeweler, fascinated by his shining jewelry and followed him. The mudwing spotted her and talked to her for a bit, Sunflower learned that his name was Reedgrass. Reedgrass (With Hyrax and Acacia's permission) took Sunflower under his wing and taught her how to make jewelry. Many years later, Sunflower was handing melted iron for a skywing's tailring order when her her younger sister, Barb, ran in, making Sunflower jump and burn her front talons. After that she has been living a good life.
