Lin is the quiet and studious older sister of Hotaru. She never really opens up to anyone side of her brother, and is always glued to her various collections of books.

When both her and Hotaru were children, she'd often be the one to take care of him. Their parents were emotionally absent, so she'd try her best to ensure her brother didn't grow up without any love or affection, so the two easily became support systems for each other.

She also knew Kimiko growing up, and always knew both her and Hotaru would end up together. She visits as much as possible to spend time with her nieces and newphew.
