- Felris has flowers growing from his ear and tail- they are both extremely hardy, but do fall out when they reach the end of their lifespan.
- Felris takes a lot of inspiration from The Last Unicorn, especially with the idea of one creature being near permanently stuck to residing in one general area. These ‘territories’ include forests, deserts, even underwater, and everything in between. It is rare to see two taurs in one area.

In accordance with their world’s lore, Jasper is a forest spirit bound wholly to Felris. It is very rare to see them separated.
The plants that grow in his ears and tail are of an endangered species, yet unknown to man. It is his sole duty to protect this specific strand of flora; and, when the flowers reach maturity, to plant them within the forest he calls home.
