Ka'Rita

Ka'Rita is a young girl that lives on the outskirts of her village. Unlike many of her kind, Ka'Rita lives alone. Having no family, she often times takes care of fellow villagers. The young, the elderly, the injured; Ka'Rita makes sure that each is cared for. Hunting a minimum of twice a day, she keeps one kill for herself and the other she divides between those in the village that were unable to hunt themselves. Between hunts she often gathers herbs, makes remedies, and even makes jewelry or blankets or other such odds and ends. 

While it is true Ka'Rita has no family of her own, she rarely feels lonely. With no memory of her family or even her own name, Ka'Rita surrounds herself with those in the village often left alone. With a lack of a memory, she fills herself with the stories of the elderly, adventures of children and so on as no one will mention her parents and what happened. She knows only that it was devastating and that when she was old enough, she began calling herself Ka'Rita and the villagers followed suit, keeping their silence firm.
