Alister is a 13 year old boy from the year 2015. He was thrust forward into the year 2318 by Fate themself, in order to give him some "independence". Which, in fact, is not the way to teach someone independence, because now he's latched on to the friends he's found along the way even more.

Alister has a magic stick friend named Doki Doki Magical Ashley. This stick can morph into practically any weapon. This girl can turn into a stick and also into any weapon that can be imagined, though she needs someone to wield her if she chooses to go inanimate. He has a whole transformation sequence, it's cool.
Alister is a humble little farmboy whose wardrobe is mostly overalls and speaks with a heavy twang. But he also has a temper issue, especially when people show off how smart they are or make fun of him for being less intelligent - Alister never was too good at the book-learning, not helped by the fact he probably needs glasses. He's trying to be better though, since he looks up to his brother, real hero worship. His older brother is so calm, cool, and collected, that he wants to be like him. He's still only 13, though. He's got a lot of growing to go.
