Personality

Kihari is an emotionally sensitive, compassionate, and gentle young female who is very shy, quiet, insecure and anxious in social interactions. Much like her mother, she is also very patient, friendly, forgiving, and apologetic. Although Kihari is an introverted person, she is very supportive towards her friends and family and is always willing to assist, protect, or comfort them. She has some difficulty in expressing most of her feelings towards others and would often tend to vent out her fears, anger, and sadness when she is alone.

History

Backstory: Kihari was an only child born and raised in a small town called Etsuo. She grew up living with her maternal aunt ever since her parents passed away. At the age of 7, Kihari unlocked her Semblance during an encounter with a Grimm. Her mother Analyn was once a huntress and a member of Team MAVE who graduated from Arcana Academy. Her father Lukan was a traveling merchant who settled down after meeting Analyn and died during an encounter from a Grimm, a couple months before Kihari was born. When Kihari was young, her mother went on a mission with Team MAVE and tragically lost their lives. At some point in her life, she had an accident with an recently made elixir, causing her hair to have permanent pink highlights which will instantly grow back whenever her hair gets cut.
Ongoing Story: Kihari is currently attending Arcana Academy in Vesuvia and is a member of Team AAKTV, the first ever team to consist of an additional 5th member. After journeying to Eereree with Timothy's dad Steve, and Team AAKTV, she revives her mother in the Fountain of Cerulia.

Outfit Description

Kihari's casual outfit consist of a light purple crop top underneath a short blue sleeveless vest with red sleeves. She also wears a dark purple skirt with a pair of matching color short shorts underneath, gray knee high stockings, and light brown leather shoes. Kihari has a brown belt with a gear belt buckle in the center, a pair of goggles on top of her head, a dark brown fingerless glove on her left hand and a blue-jeweled bracelet on the right wrist. Her goggle lenses are modified with infrared vision and can be used to view and access her scroll. She also has a cross-shaped pendant that she wears as a necklace which is hidden underneath her top.

Weapon Description

Raiden Jomei are a pair of twin Japanese bladed folding hand fans that can be converted into crossbow rifles. Influenced by her mother's fighting style and weapon Thea Lelani, Kihari's weapon can also be used as boomerangs which are keyed into her Aura thereby returning to her if separated. When channeling her Semblance into her weapons, she can temporarily control the direction of her weapons when thrown before the effects of her Semblance in Raiden Jomei wears off.  Additionally, specialized Dust cartridges can be loaded into the barrel part of Raiden Jomei to modify her ammunition's effect.

Semblance Description

Sunglow
Much like her mother which she inherited her Semblance from, Kihari can manipulate the visible light around her (i.e., light beams from the sun, lightbulbs, flashlight, candles, etc.) and solidify them into solid objects. The brightness varies depending on both her current thought/mood/emotions when using it and the amount of light that is being used. The strength of the light’s concrete solidity can weaken easily depending on the amount or severity of the physical injuries she’s inflicted. Her Semblance can also drain her of her Aura if she uses it consistently for a long period of time or if its from a largely concentrated source of light. When using her Semblance in combat, she can channel it into her Raiden Jomei, thus amplifying the speed and power of her attacks and her weapon's ammunition. She can also control the direction of where her weapons go for a short period of time, only when thrown and if her Semblance is channeled within it. Similar to her mother, Kihari can only use her Semblance if she either of her hands aren’t completely obstructed by something else. She must have at least one hand free to be able to use even a bit of her Semblance.
