Ezra Tonner

Raised an outsider in his own community, Ezra has always struggled to fit in. He'd dress like his peers, be the one to drive, volunteer to lie for beer, foot the remainder of the bill, and anything else he could to beg some scrap of acceptance; but he was just different, in a way that couldn't quite be reconciled.

In the end, the answer was to leave, and leave he did. He thought it'd be when he'd saved up enough for a long drive and a new place, but it turned out to be when a stranger passing through accidentally sucked him into the ongoing consequences of a crime. Ezra would do anything for Colt--the only person to ever truly accept him, the only one to show him loyalty--but he would be remiss to ignore the fact that if they stopped running, everything would definitely, absolutely catch up with them.

But hey: as it is, hopping from city to town in whatever car they've got, he's finally got the different life he'd dreamed about. Even if it's a lot more bloody and transient than he wanted it to be.
