He's the devious host of a twisted TV show where "contestants" (recruited via dubious means) are plunged into a custom-crafted realm based on their very own personal nightmares.
The goal would be to make it out alive, but usually they just end up meeting their maker in a number of ways for the audience's amusement - either due to their own misfortune, or to him blantantly cheating to 'spice up' the whole thing and keep his loving public entertained.

He's a nasty rotten Bastard(tm) with loads of charisma and a really, really dark sense of humor, as well as an obvious sadistic streak.
