Kauri

K A U R I

So this is my free spirit, Kauri. She's a traveller - heck, she does whatever she wants, whenever she wants. She'll drop whatever she's doing for a sudden urge to go somewhere. She loves experiencing the world for what it is, and doesn't need to be in the company of others because she's someone who can take pleasure and see beauty in even the smallest things. That being said though, she can definitely be social and her love for life gives her this air that just attracts people to her. The way she perceives things can be very unique, as often it comes from an in depth, potentially artistic, view point. She also loves to collect souvenirs and things (as seen from her bracelets and other jewellery) from her travels as they are her way of holding onto the memories she's made - her feather necklace actually (which I decided to change from the old version) was given to her by Kobi on one of her adventures. She holds these gifts and things with her forever, though she may not necessarily be wearing them. I've decided that her face marking also has the potential to change. The one she has now was drawn on by a young human girl she met playing by the edge of the forest. The young girl was finger painting and when she caught sight of the curious Kauri, unlike most people's natural reaction to be scared, she instead reached out for Kauri's face and painted random scribbles while she giggled. Kauri has yet to see that young girl again. Depending on the way the marking is painted on, it may gradually fade and eventually be replaced by another.

Kauri is also part of Lozen's pack, but due to her adventurous personality, has been given special pardon to wander from the pack, along with her mate Rei.
