Very quiet and introverted, he's more observing his surroundings than actually interacting with anyone. A bit shy if he has to talk to others, quiet. Very obsessed with Idols and Idol music, often has crushes on his fave musicians.

He's only watching them though, not actually doing anything.

Except the person he has a crush on is in reach. Then he'll be totally obsessed with them.

When he met her, it was his first real obsession. So far he was pretty much quiet and didn't talk much but he fell for her at first sight and kept watching her. He also heard people talking shit about her behind her back and... well, one day he started "doing something against them." One day, he finally managed to brush aside his fears and confessed his feelings to her infront of a sakura tree - just like the clishee.
Hikari was happy and he thought he did it... But it turned out, she didn't know the difference between a friend and a boyfriend. And there starts their romantic/friendship adventure, connected with quite a bit of drama, caused by Yuri's habit to be extra careful with people who get too close to Hikari. Sometimes with detrimental consequences for those people.
