About
Personality
Observant . Playful . Curious . Adventurous

"I humbly accept your offering; please, continue your journey. You will be safe on my waters."

Attributes

A lesser river demigod who dabbles in magic every now and again. He bides his time watching the ships pass by, ocassionally thumping their hulls with his tail in harmless play. Any sailors or traders native to the area are well aware of him and seek his blessing, especially when it comes to traversing the trade-river.

Story

Aharon is a river dweller, and tends to lurk as close to civilizations as he can. Though generally young as far as demigods go, his size and power alone make up for what he lacks in years. Though he can consume normal foods, the main source of nourishment tends to be the leylines that are buried far beneath the riverbed, feasting on the arcane magicks to strengthen his own power and grow in size.

It's customary, when crossing his river, to leave some sort of offering for him in exchange for a safe crossing and blessed merchandise. Small shrines dot harbors and piers to do just that, and can sometimes be found on watercraft themselves. Offerings generally include sweet breads and fruits, while bribery tends to consist of precious metals and gemstones. It is said that gold and sapphires bring the most luck, and as such, can be hard to come by along the riverbanks.
