Ever since she was a little girl ("oh so many years ago") she found the monotonous drone of everyday life absolutely unbareable. But it wasn't enough to spice her own life up, she's always been more than eager to drag others along behind her, whether they like it or not.
To be a prankster, to be a clown was never quite far enough. Chanel quickly realized firepower and threats was the most effective way to disrupt the peace.
Though she has the power and means to get all the money and power anyone could possibly desire, she is a simple woman. Her means are her ends, all she wants is to make a statement. And she has been for decades now.

Chanel has been doing her thing since she was a pup. Bank robbery? Check. Holding politicians for ransom? Check. Spike the city's water with powerful mutegens? Check! Nothing is too big or small for Chanel and her beloved goon Beach.
Well, it would be inaccurate to say she has no limitations. She has a strong sense of hospitality, she couldn't stand to be rude to anyone. Everyone gets the same welcoming smile and pleasanteries. She also has a distaste for senseless slaughter. A dead person can't react to her actions, now can they?
