Cristobel

Cristobel is a prince, which might have people thinking he's a pretty big deal. On the contrary, it means very little to a pixie. Pixies are blessed with extremely long lives, and the royal family has bred time and time again. There are hundreds of prince and princess pixies out there, which makes Cristobel no more special than any other pixie. The only thing that gives any indication to him being a prince is his style of clothing, and he wears that more because he wants to than because he has to.

The life of a pixie is not too difficult. They are generally very small, though they can expand their height at will if they so wish, and resources are plentiful. Not content to live among the pixies, Cristobel became enamored with humans. Likewise, they became enamored with him. He often spends his time with humans, putting on shows of pixie magic that delights not only the children, but adults as well. None of the other pixies engage with humans like Cristobel, and it's this that makes him standout among them. The pixies don't particularly care what he does so he meets little resistance from them. Other races aren't so keen on the idea, though, and even more simply don't understand why he does this.

In order to mingle with humans, Cristobel cannot stay at his true pixie height. He would be far too small for any human to even notice him. Instead, he allows his frame to grow. At his tallest he is still fairly short for adult standards, being only 4'5", and this sometimes annoys him. He's older than humans, yet some still treat him like a child because of his height. Often times Cristobel will seek out tall places to hang out at, such as tree branches or a small hill, in order for him to appear taller.

The Mythicals

The human world is finally beginning to realize that there are other humanoid creatures out there. Creatures that rival human intelligence, but with capabilities that humans could only dream of. While humans don't actively hunt down these creatures, realizing that to do so could lead to devastating consequences, they often shy away from the creatures. A small band of misfits work together to try to bridge the gap between the mythical creatures and the humans. They believe that doing so would lead to harmony, and would make the world a better place for all.

Cristobel belongs to this group because he already has such strong connections with the human world. They don't fear him as much as they do other mythical creatures because of how kind he had been. How willing he is to engage with them. The humans are even willing to look past his unusual looks and the magical talents that he has because they genuinely like him. Despite wanting to be recognized by humans, and wanting to share the world with them, the other mythical creatures often have a hard time of doing so. They still see themselves as superior while Cristobel thinks he is no better than anyone else.

Friends and Allies

Willoughby - The first of the group to approach Cristobel, the two did not hit it off right away. Cristobel was used to other mythical creatures looking down on him for mingling with humans, and believed Willoughby's intentions would be to convince him to leave them alone. He also wasn't too fond of Willoughby's smoking habit. Eventually, Willoughby manages to convince him that he only wants to learn about humans too. That he wants to mingle with them like Cristobel does, but isn't sure how yet. As the two get to know each other better, they become friends. However, Cristobel will always be jealous that Willougby is naturally much taller than him.

Anja - Cristobel is introduced to the half-elf through Willoughby. The two don't know each other very well because Anja tends to be shy around him, but they manage to get along when in the same room together. Cristobel often has to resist the urge to treat Anja like she is solely human because other than her pointed ears, she gives no indication of being elf.

Daniella - It's safe to say that the only one who really likes Daniella is Anja. The half-demon is hard to get along with because she's so obsessed with showing how evil she can be. She likes to poke fun at Cristobel, and though he does his best to ignore it, he usually winds up snapping at her. He isn't quite sure why Daniella stays in the group if their ultimate goal is to bring humans and mythical creatures closer together. He's not really in a hurry to find out because it would likely lead to other arguments with her.
