A Bearded Vulture avian tamer, Fabian is a generally well intentioned, yet emotionally constipated bartender for the Golden Star.

"Unremarkable" is a good way to define most of Fabian's childhood. His family was alright, His parents were good and supportive, his brother, for the very few years they lived in that house together, was a pretty great older brother, his school live was boring, but unremarkable as well, it was all pretty standard. Higschool is hell tho, and his case wasn't the exeption. By this point his brother had moved out of town for college, so he was mostly alone dealing with the bullshit that highschool threw at him.

He wouldn't say he was bullied, really, though it probably counts as bullying, he would probably describe it as having been teased a lot, and very ocassionally fucked with, as a teenager trying to figure himself out.

As much as he says it "wasn't really a big deal", it messed with his sense of idenitity and self expression. He grew to keep himself, who he was and what he liked very close to his chest, and put out a very carefully crafted persona of the angry teen who was hardly ever amused by anything, got pissed off easily, and never wanted to try to socialize or befriend anyone.

He became a very lonely person, without any real friends other than his brother, who he called ocassionally, and a couple of cousins that lived in Lourdes, close enough that he could go visit ocassionally, but not close enough that he could just call to hang out without at least a week of advance.

So when he got the opportunity to go to the European Bartender School, he took it immediately, having nothing strongly keeping him tied to his home in Toulouse. While he'll admit he went mostly to try something new, he found himself really enjoying it, and so that's where his life path continued from.

After several years and having become pretty damn good at his job, he ended up landing a pretty great job opportunity with some unusually high rates and benefits, at a stripper bar called the Golden Star. It was a little shady, but he took it anyway, thinking worst case scenario he could just get a new job, He had the savings to take the risk.

It was a mob bar. Of Course it was a mob bar. Pretty Quickly he found out that the owner of the place was not only a mob enforcer, but the brother of the fucking mob boss. The whole place was supposed to be a money laundering opperation they just happened to use for other things as well because the guy was emotionally attached to it.

God only knows why the fuck he didn't leave then, but he never really got involved in the drama, the boss was ok at best, midly annoying at worst, he got along pretty damn well with the rest of the workers, He even made friends working there! Friends! so he probably didn't see the damage in just staying.
