Leon

• He can change between his human form and animal form at will. He is 7'6 in his human form, but smaller in the animal form -so will often change to make others more comfortable.
• He can be drawn with long or short hair...it grows very fast

Leon is a friendly character who loves meeting new people. He's very socially driven; when left alone he prefers to lie low and nap or lounge around, but when surrounded with other people, he quickly becomes very energetic and talkative. He goes out of his way to try and keep others comfortable and safe- even changing his form if necessary in order for them to be less intimidated by his size or presence. However, he does get carried away with his roughhousing and goofing off and can sometimes get a bit overbearing to those not prepared to keep up with him. He's very kind and frequently helps others in need when given the opportunity, hardly thinking if it means making someone else happy; sometimes even at detriment to himself.

He loves good company, though while he has a lot of friends- he has very few really close friends that he'll truly open up to. He isn't shy, but doesn't really like to share his inner thoughts or insecurities with people due to the fact they see him as someone without a negative bone in his body and it has driven wedges between his relationships to know he isn't always that way-also damaging his ability to trust others with the same later on.

 While he isn't always the most book smart (Reading just isn't his thing)- he's a great problem solver and his optimism is often infectious enough to fix plenty of predicaments. As such, he can get frustrated by people who blow him off as being airheaded or childish.

He enjoys adventures, and spends a lot of time exploring the nearby parks, woodlands, or just picking a direction and wandering off into the city. Often coming back with new friends, strange knickknacks, and new stories to tell. 

He doesn't really handle grief or loss well, and while he's a great shoulder to cry on and very accepting/understanding of others, he gets a bit flustered when faced with responding to real emotional difficulty. Not because he doesn't want to help- his optimistic energy just tends to upset people more and get him into a pinch where he panics. He'll surely give you a great hug, but don't expect good advice because he'll clam up knowing a stupid pun or cheery outlook might not be what you're looking for.

His experiences in his childhood left him very clingy to those who he found connection with. The people he felt like he could truly trust became his lifeline, and he'd do anything to protect them. As a result, he'd also feel exceptionally betrayed if these few trusted people ever abandoned him. He can also be very flighty, not staying in one place for very long-as he's still adjusting to the concept of having a real 'home' for the first time in his life.

Growing up, Leon never knew his parents. They gave him up when he was very young, and he was tossed into the foster care system, which was very rough to him. Due to his strength- and the difficulty that came with regulating his strength, he was often breaking things or causing problems, often ending up in trouble or in the eyes of the law simply by accident. Needless to say, not only did this prevent him finding any permanent home- it also caused him a lot of trauma in his young age. However, rather than dwelling on those negative emotions, Leon decided to face them as head on as possible. Choosing to be as positive as he could. Perhaps as a child- hoping it would make a family like him enough to take him in despite his flaws. He worked on being optimistic and driving himself to see the good around him- making new friends everywhere and earning new experiences despite the stability his life lacked.

He worked on managing his strength, and learning to be gentle (With a few exceptions here and there). Unfortunately, it never really worked out for him. While he did well enough in school, eventually he aged out of the foster system without ever really finding a home. Eventually, moving in as a roommate with Rana, who he'd met around his final foster home. For a while he was unemployed, choosing to tend to the chores and be a stay-at-home-helper for his roommate, but he did eventually pick up a job as a barista to help pay some of the bills and give him a reason to be out of the apartment.
