I always try to find songs with a cold vibe for Mehnrié and in my opinion this one sounds exactly like winter and hope... It perfectly captures his discreet side too!! I think Yuuki sent it to me when I was looking for a theme song for him after creating his FFXIV AU?

Oh, Ólafur Arnalds, I love you so much... His songs are always so good, I think most of the stuff I've written about Mehnrié or the Aumontl family has been done with his compositions blasting into my headphones. Another music with such a perfect cold feeling about it. I also love the meaning behind the title.

One of my favourites FFXIV OSTs... It's sooooo good. omg. And of course I'll always associate HW stuff with Mehnrié....

Note: I've never played a single Dark Souls game in my life.

And yet I love listening to Dark Souls' OST!!!! It captures perfectly that dark fantasy vibe that I like so much. I think that OST is from a boss fight? Well I like to imagine a with with Mehnrié too while listening to it...

This song sounds mournful... I used it for Mehnrié's death too... His lifeless body.. The blood's red on the white snow... Finally, the soldier has been set free...

AeMehn song... I didn't expect to ship them together, not gonna lie. But after making jokes about them falling in love... It kinda grew on me. (I'm obsessed). They're not together in canon and Mehnrié promised Aelicia's brother to not fall in love with her anyway. Oh, the angst...
