Rúni, the Delight in Obscurity

Rúni is charismatic and social, loving to get to know others. And he knows a lot about them. He’s probably acquainted with the most social kitsunegamis, who in turn probably helped him to know who just about everyone else is that isn’t particularly good at hiding their existence, and has a tendency to learn just about everything he can about everyone. Rúni is very intelligent, but has gotten bored of things that are routine, and often seeks sources of entertainment in others. In this boredom and search for amusement he just about has no sense of self-preservation; it is his sheer wit and luck that has gotten him out of tight situations.
He loves secrets and plans and the very idea of them, intrigued by what is shrouded in mystery. The bad news is he likes to learn others’ secrets, no matter how bad they may be, and if you weren’t careful he’s probably figured out yours already. The good news is, as much as he likes to listen to gossip, he doesn’t like to partake in it, so your secrets are pretty safe with him. Mostly.
Trivia / Miscellaneous
- His favorite ninetails would probably be Yami, for void shenanigans, or Rhasa, if only for her fancy face markings. They remind him of masquerade masks, which he loves.
- His pocket watch is on time and he likes to make sure it is so, but he usually has to ask kitsus to check it for him since the struggle is real to actually turn and try to look at it.
- His aesthetic is kinda 20th century masquerade party in black and white
- He likes red and “black” roses, and if he really wants to charm someone there’s probably going to be roses involved.
- Dramatic irony is his favorite kind, especially in real life
