About

Personality
Appears seductive, deceptive and not entirely trustworthy. People often are uncertain about their opinion towards her, she looks like she could do all sorts of evil things to them, nevertheless they feel drawn to her for some reason. For her personally there is nothing more important than her loyalty towards Universe. She would do everything for him.
Story
1. Prologue
Once upon a time, there was a boy. He had only ever known one other person. They were happy. They spent lots of time together. But one day the other person stopped coming and the boy was left alone by himself. He waited, days, months, years. His head started spinning. He couldn't take it anymore. He could create whatever he wanted to play with. But it didn't help against his loneliness. He tried to reach the friend he knew, but one day he gave up. Out of options and somewhat insane at this point he started creating something that should've been impossible. Something that defied the laws of the Universe.

Upon this incident, a series of devastating events started to affect one world after the other. While a mysterious force of order, the so called Airies were able to prevent the worst from happening, there was someone, determined to prevent anything like this from ever happening again. That was the creator of gods and representor of the Universe himself. As he doesn't have a name or identity other than the Universe itself this is what people call him: Universe.
He knew he couldn't just put his trust in Airies, he had to do something to prevent incidents like that from happening in the first place. He already had a plan to put into motion in order for this to happen. The creation of Angels.

2. Creation
The first thing, Yggdrasil saw, when she opened her eyes was a person, so devine and powerful, she was stunned. If one would ask her why, she probably couldn't give them an answer, but she knew, she wanted to follow this person. She knew, it was her purpose to follow this person. Universe.
Yggdrasils task was to create the angels. She could decide on their design, on their personalities, on their traits. Everything. She knew they had to be perfect, so they could prevent any further disruptions of the universe from happening. The angels would be provided their own little dimension from Universe. They would be restricted and unable to break rules. The only one they'd listen to was Universe. Yggdrasil took this task very seriously. She carefully choose abilities for each one of them, she made their looks match their personality slightly. She tried to come up even with quirks and a lot of tiny details, that might've been unnecessary. But she was determined to make them perfect.

As Universe took a look at them he knew it was the right decision, to put her up for the task. She did a phenomenal job. He didn't have to request any changes. He gave the angels the only thing, Yggdrasil couldn't give them. Life. With that the angels were created.

3. Doubts
Sadly things didn't go as smoothly. Yggdrasil spent a lot of time in the dimension of angels. Usually in disguise, a few angels had found out that she wasn't one of them, but they didn't think much at it at the time. While she was supposed to be happy, one thing didn't sit quite right with her. The angels, she spent so much time creating... Something was different from what she imagined. They didn't have their quirks. They didn't play games with each other. They didn't do anything she thought they'd do with the personalities she gave them. Thinking about it, she soon found out why. Of course... Universe's rules. They couldn't break them. They couldn't even have an argument with one another. Everything of the sort would be too risky. They had to keep the order after all.
She understood. She really did. She wanted to accept... But she couldn't. Why? She didn't know. But she knew she was disappointed. While she suppressed this feeling she kept going like usual, until one day she got into a talk with the angel Ashira. Yggdrasil opened up, as to how capable she and everyone else would, if they weren't restricted as much. How much she would love to see the angels in all their glory. She was sad as she saw how Ashira was willing to give her an honest answer but couldn't. To change the topic she offered one of her apples. As Ashira bit in it, something changed. Her expression changed somewhat, then she said: "I agree. It's not a nice life. I wish we could change something about it..." She seemed to be as surprised as Yggdrasil about what she just said. That was not in line with what Universe planned for the angels. Something changed. At the time though, both of them didn't think much of it, but soon Ashira would get into small word battles, she'd start arguing with other angels. Yggdrasil noticed the change but still didn't report to Universe. But she had a hunch what happened.
To confirm her theory Yggdrasil gave an angel who she knew was very responsible one of her apples. She asked him questions he couldn't answer before... Now he could. The apples never had that effect before. He gained free will. As well as Ashira. She didn't know what to think. That wasn't right. She was doing something wrong. This wasn't supposed to happen. And she was at fault. She was about to report to Universe. But a thought stopped her from it. If she did that. If she went to universe... What would happen? The most likeable scenario would be that these two angels would be killed. They were a danger to the cause. She wasn't in her right mind. It didn't cross her mind, that Universe could just restore them. So she kept watching. And one day it happened.

4. Fall
As Ashira got into an argument again, the other angel who had free will snapped. Yggdrasil thought it'd be okay to give him the apple because he certainly wouldn't act up. How wrong she was. What initially convinced her he would be safe was his responsibility and loyalty to Universe, but exactly that turned against himself. He couldn't watch Ashira breaking the rules by arguing. After seeing her that many times, he was sure he had to deliver punishment. He attacked her. Another angel threw herself between them... Blood flew out of her wound, her shocked expression weakened as her eyes became foggy and she fell down. Dead.
Nobody could believe what they saw. Neither Yggdrasil, nor Ashira, nor any of the other angels present and the least the murderer. Everyone could watch how he changed. Horns started coming out of his head. 8 horns. Everything else started changing as well. His feathers started to darken up, they became black. Finally once the horns reached his halo, it broke. Before anyone could react, he screamed and darkness came over everyone. For a moment they didn't see what happened. And once their view cleared... He was gone. The first fallen angel had started to exist. It was something Yggdrasil couldn't keep a secret anymore.

She reported. She expected scolding, but she was greeted with an understanding mind. Universe didn't mean to punish her. Whatever the reason. However, she couldn't live with the blame anymore, she couldn't just take no punishment as an answer, so she started punishing herself. She established herself as the mastermind behind the fallen angel's actions. She introduced her apples of the fruits of evil. And the angels believed her. Everyone knew her intentions weren't pure. Everyone knew she was evil. Nobody knew, she created them, nobody knew she was loyal to Universe. Everyone thought, she would oppose him. And that's what she wanted. Only one angel stayed at her side. Ashira. Because she was the only one who knew how Yggdrasil really felt.
Ashira however had to suffer as well. Of course, an angel siding with the devil wouldn't be accepted as easily. Angels can't break the rules. They can't argue with others, but they have other ways of emotionally draining those they don't like. Ignoring them, shunning them. Ashira couldn't take it anymore. She decided to leave. She could only do that on Universe's order before. But now she had her own free will. The wardens of the gate though didn't agree with that. They had the order to keep anyone from getting out. Only those two were allowed to kill an angel, if they were about to leave without permission. As Ashira managed to take them by surprise and kill both of them to get out, she grew horns as well. Only two in her case. Her feathers fell out, leaving black skinned wings. A bit different from the first time but a familiar change to Yggdrasil, who just joined the scene. As she wanted to stop Ashira, she earned a sad smile. It was too late. Two pairs of Eyes appeared on her wings... The eyes of the dead wardens. What a creepy ability she had gained. Then she left. Yggdrasil didn't know what to do. The angels sent after The first fallen one didn't come back. Apparently their powers skyrocket whenever they fall. Ironic.

Yggdrasil went to Universe because she knew it got only worse. She expected punishment, but again. She was met with understanding. For the first time she got mad at Universe. She yelled at him, asking for punishment. Then he hugged her. "I'm as much at fault as you are... For making you the way you are. I let you make the angels to make sure I wouldn't give them too much freedom. I couldn't restrict them as much if i made them. I made you go through everything... Because I still couldn't help." He said it slowly. He seemed almost as much at pain. He couldn't go after them. He was bound to the cathedral of origin. Making stronger creatures to keep the angels in check wouldn't help either. He could only watch them. Yggdrasil understood. She was mad as well, he could've told her sooner. But she knew how hard it must've been for him as well.
While Yggdrasil did feel better, also thanks to her friends in the cathedral, she still kept the personality she built around herself because she still can't help but blame herself for all of this. Especially after loosing her friend Ashira. She can't tell what she's up to. Who knows where she went. Hopefully not causing chaos. Yggdrasil thought about going after her herself. But deep inside of her, there was a believe that she would only cause more harm than good. So she stayed, hoping for the best.

5. The snake (trivia)
Yggdrasil once found a snake, that kinda looked like her, long before everything started happening. She felt some kind of connection... Maybe Universe created the snake for her, to give her company. The snake couldn't speak and had no apparent intelligence. The animal liked apples and kept being around Yggdrasil. One day she found out she could see through the eyes of the snake and look at the angels or also her friends at the Cathedral from another perspective. It's unclear where the snake came from but Yggdrasil feels like it's a part of her.

Universe

creator/master
toyhouse link not available yet - Universe created her to be loyal to him, she would never defy him. However, as you can read in the story, after Yggdrasil went through a lot of problems on her own, she found out that Universe wasn't as perfect as he seemed, which brought them a lot closer together.

Ashira

(former) friend
Ashira and Yggdrasil were really good friends, They could talk about everything joke about everything and so on. Both of them kinda got nicer and more approachable when talking to each other. However take note, Ashira looked different at the time, she had white feather wings, a halo, no horns and a different style of clothes as well. Once she became a fallen angel she pretty much disappeared from Yggdrasil's life.

Taylor & Shiyuan

friends
As Taylor and Shiyuan are the only ones acutally living in the Cathedral of Origin with Universe and Yggdrasil, they were bound to become friends with Yggdrasil... Well These two are very childish so Yggdrasil loves to tease them. She acts kind of sadistic and evil around them to scare them a bit but she would never hurt them. They are a bit afraid of her but respect her maybe as an older sister or something along the lines.
