Clothing: Common Set

• Feathered Scarf: Finding this scarf in the tomb of his good friend, Tai, Emanuel recognized it as the feathers of a Noctowl. A very familiar one. It grants him the agility to speak with some Pokemon, much like his old graduation cap did.
• Amor of the Prism: Attuning to this armor has proven to save Emanuel's skin more than once. Choosing to continue to use it an take the pact with Necrozma seemed logical.

-Personality-

Emanuel has grown to be more confident in himself. He still struggles with anxiety and moments of doubt, but has been able to rise to the occasion better.
He has a drive to succeed in all areas if he can and help others where needed. His adventures have taught him to be a little more cautious with people and delve to gather information when ever possible.
Of course he will always be a little awkward nerd at heart.

Hopes/Dreams: 

• Pursuit of Knowledge:
  • Constantly in search of ways to expand his knowledge and heighten his understanding.
  • Has taken interest in the idea of forming a pact or deal with Arceus to expand such knowledge. 
    • Learned that he may have already done this without being fully aware. Searches for his Genesis Relic and Arceus to understand.
• Tapping into Pokemon's Potential:
  • No Pokemon is 'weak'. Emanuel believes all Pokemon have their benefits and strengths. He takes up upon himself to learn what they are.
• Return Home:
  • After being torn away from his time line, Emanuel seeks to return home to reunite with his family and his old life. He had left so much to be done.
  • This goal extends to getting Boston home as well. He couldn't bear the idea of not insuring both of them return safely.
• Marrying Boston:
  • After years of planning and waiting he was finally ready to seal the deal. Now being thrown into time has really messed with those plans.
    
    

Fears/Nightmares: 

• Losing a Pokemon/Partner:
  • After having lost Pokemon in the past, Emanuel doesn't think he can handle losing another.
  • After being able to finally form a bond and relationship with Boston, Emanuel fears losing him again. He's already worked so hard to keep him alive. 
• Haunted by Memories:
  • Emanuel spent some time going through therapy to cope with his traumas of Reaper and other events. He's done well to keep the nightmares at bay, but jolts at the memories when they creep back in.
• Unable to Return: 
  • The moment Emanuel stepped foot in this new time, people have been promising him different way to be able to return home. However, most of the people have now betrayed the group and him or plans have changed. He is unsure if there is even a way home at this point, or if was just a ruse to get him to help over with their goals.

-Relationships- 

Relationship Status: Engaged to Boston
Relationship Values: Trust and respect is what Emanuel values most in any relationship. He values the kindness in people's hearts over all.

 Family: 

• William (Father): A researcher, like himself, that has made many improvements with his research. Emanuel wants nothing more than to make him proud.
  • After assuming him to be dead, Emanuel heard his voice over the phone. Confusion now racks Emanuel. His father is alive? What of his mother?
• Rosetta (Mother): An ex-league challenger. Very protective of Emanuel, and fueled his love to Pokemon battling.
• Henry (Butler): Took care of Emanuel in his younger years when his parents were busy or away. Sees him as another father figure.

 Friends:

• Boston (Fiancé): Met while traveling Voronis for the first time. After 2 years he finally asked him for his hand in marriage. Of course it ended in the psychic just reading his mind and beating him to the punch. In the end he said yes. Loves him for his genuine heart and ability to make him laugh.
  • Upon finding Boston in this new time, he was younger? Emanuel believes this is his Boston from an experiment gone awry, but isn't 100% sure. Regardless, he will stick by him and keep him safe for them to return home. Even if he isn't his Boston, he's someone's. 
  • He is very sure that this Boston is his. With everything going on he worries what this new Voronis has in store for him. In the end, however, he intends to stick by his side. Staying together in this new world is a top priority.  
• James (Close Friend): Emanuel misses James terribly. Work took him away from their adventures together, but he will always remember the good times. 
  • As his new adventure goes on. He finds himself missing the Ranger more and more. 
  • James has appeared in this time as well. However, he went as quickly as he came. Trying to figure out his own way home and to fix issues in other regions were we can not go.

• Eerie: Her perceptiveness is startling. Eerie was one of the first to pin point Emanuel's secrets. However, she proved to be very trustworthy and kind hearted. Emanuel has grown to trust her in this new place and feels he can rely on her. The last thing he wants to do is get on her bad side. 
  • Eerie has won Emanuel's friendship. He really enjoys her company and she is always willing to step in and try anything. She has a tendency to push the truth out of Emanuel and make his face the parts of himself he'd rather cover up. However, does so with open arms and a accepting attitude. Her fame is making it hard to keep a low profile, but its a small price to pay for the help she's given. 
• Tony: Even not knowing her very long, Emanuel can tell that Tony is loyal and fierce. Shoot first, ask questions later attitude. Her past failures seem to weigh her down. Emanuel thinks that coming to Voronis is just the remedy she needs to grow. After all, it worked for him.
  • Emanuel has seen Toni begin to grow on their travels. She has a lot to learn, however. He believes she is a good friend at heart, even if her teasing of him does get under his skin. He wants to be able to trust her completely, but the filter on her mouth could use some work. Her tendency to speak before thinking makes Emanuel very nervous in delicate conversations.
  • With Toni almost dying, Emanuel realized how much he does care about her, and trusts her. He finds her new awakening into Aura maybe a good chance for him to get them to learn off each other. He knows there's a fire in her, it just needs to be stoked.
• Hubert: Emanuel enjoys Hubert's company. He is constantly surprised as his durableness. In their recent discoveries, Emanuel has been very appreciative of Hubert sharing his notes with him. However, he still wants to know... What war he fought in?!
  • Hubert was the Duri Pokemart cashier that Emanuel first used Void's Dark Void attack on and sent him into a coma. After this realization, Emanuel feels a sickening guilt in his heart. He had assumed he was dead, but that doesn't excuse his past actions towards him. He is glad to see that he has a life to live now, but the reminder of his early mistakes now weighs on him. 
  • Hubert has assured Emanuel he forgives him and works to trust Void as well. This is reassuring, but Emanuel still can't look at him without feeling a guilt of what he took from him. Especially with how much Hubert has done for the team and him.

Pokemon:

• Flint (Incinaroar): Emanuel's starter and trusted partner. Flint has been there since the beginning of his adventure and continues to be a partner he can rely on.
  • Emanuel is trilled to have Flint back to his full self again. Not that he minded him being smaller, and more carriable, but he missed his big ol' buddy.
• Void (Darkrai): While he is a reincarnation of Void, Emanuel still believes there is a part, or a memory, of him still in there. He is very protective of the young Darkrai and will do anything to keep him safe. He never wants to lose him again.
  • After thinking he'd lost Void, Emanuel made a wish before Jirachi to have him back safely. He got his wish. Void is now back to his old self before the trial that killed him. Emanuel is shocked and happy. He is unsure what it fully means, but hearing Void again after 5 long years is a dream come true.
• Trix (Luxray): A engagement gift from Boston. Emanuel hope to train her to engage in Pokemon battles with him. However, he is still unsure how she got to be here with him in the future. 
  • "When I see you, I feel sparks flying. This electric chemistry between us." -Boston
• Dante (Tyranitar): Found and helped in Altir Cavern. Emanuel hopes that this strong little Pokemon will grow into a trusted ally of his. He already loves his determination.
• Sol (Lucario): Revisiting Parvis Ranch, Emanuel adopted a Riolu again. Feeling a connection to his aura and the chance to rekindle a familiar bond made Emanuel very emotional. He looks forward to training up this Riolu into a strong partner. 
  • Sol has grown into a find Lucario. During a visit to Cheromisa he contained the Sol of Rye, Emanuel's older Lucario, and now carries it with him till Rye can be put to rest. Emanuel is unsure of what this all means, but doesn't want the two to suffer.
• Xavier (A. Marowak): After visiting Cherimosa Jungle, Emanuel met Xavier again in a Paradox. The A. Marowak was eager to rejoin the team and Emanuel was overjoyed to have him back. After having raised Xavier from a Cubone, having a familiar face around was very comforting. He missed his little boy so much.

Acquaintances: 

• Irena: A literal blast from the past. Emanuel was surprised to see her rescuing him after the time rift. However, her rescuing him, and waiting for him, brought more questions than answers. Her insight on his next steps was invaluable, but Emanuel can't help but wonder if he can trust her fully. She seemed to have started to use that Genesis Relic from Psuis a bit too much again. 
  • With the new information he found out about Genesis Relic, he is now even more unsure of Irena's intentions. However, he is trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. 
  • Emanuel is unsure is he can trust Irena or not. Her cryptic behavior is frustrating, but she also keeps saving the party when they need her the most. Constantly keeping an eye on them.
  • After Irena was taken by the Creator, Emanuel is pretty sure his doubts about her are false. A realization a little too late unfortunately. 
  • Irena has been turned into a Mewtwo and suffers from some memory loss. Emanuel is using this to try to rebuild his trust with her. She seems happy with the changes, but she has gone through so much. That being said, Emanuel isn't sure if she can help him home now. 
• Prof. Locust: Trying to find more information, Emanuel traveled to the Professor. However, he had little information to give, or at least not as much as Emanuel was hoping for. He was thankful for what he could get, but gets the feeling that the Professor is not letting go of all the information he know. He isn't sure if he should be wary of the new Professor, or the events going on in this new Voronis. 
• Bee: A familiar face in a new land. Emanuel was grateful for his help upon his arrival. Glad to have an ally somewhere
• The Creator: A Pokemon, a Person, or someone with a God Complex? A tentative ally. After getting to know The Creator a bit more, Emanuel believe he is a friend. His intentions are vague, but their origianl meeting seemed to be a misunderstanding. 
  • "You are not the first Emanuel Hawthorne I've defeated, and you wont be the last." Those words ring in Emanuel's ears. Unsure why he has been chosen time and time again to fend of whatever the Creator is planning.
    • After confronting him, Emanuel learned that other Emanuels have come and threatened the Creator. However, Emanuel seems to an enigma. The first with a Boston in tow.

Enemies:  

• Jeana: Uncertainly surrounds Emanuel's feeling about Jeana. There is too  much unknown to fully trust in her, but she also hasn't attacked them. Or at least, may not be able to. Perhaps after some questions answered things will be more clear.
  • An old friend now turned rogue. Emanuel isn't sure why she decided to keep secrets and work behind Boston's trust, but she did. Emanuel wants to understand why, why would she toss aside Boston after all this time? Sadly, he doesn't think he'll get the chance to know once Boston gets a hold of her.

Groups:  

• NDA: The old detective force has been revived along with some of its members. They seem to be hunting down legendaries.

-Storyline/History/Background-

     After traveling Voronis, defeating Cataclysm, and going his separate way from his friends, Emanuel focused on working on the Pokedex for the island. Under the tutelage of Professor Pine, he retraveled the land to collect one of each species that resided there. Even spending time with some of the new Pokemon that had just been discovered. It took about two years for him to complete everything and work with the Professor to input all the data, but finally the Voronis Dex was completed. Though in that time he had taken note that some Pokemon species and Legendries seemed to be vanishing from the island.

     Within those years he also completed his training with the Aura Masters and gain the title himself. Being one with his own abilities made travel and work a lot easier. He also began to write a book about his adventures in Voronis. Compiling notes he'd taken and small adventures he'd had. At the end of the second year he finally gathered the courage to propose to Boston. However, the psychic beat him to the punch by reading his mind when he stumbled on his words. Regardless, he said yes! They each agrees to try to finish their own personal projects before marrying. Boston gave Emanuel a time limit of 3 years. Eagerly agreeing, Emanuel looked forward to when his projects were done and they could finalize their vows.

     By the start of the third year after his adventure was done, Emanuel began to start focusing on his more personal project. Only helping the Professor when he was needed. With all the work he'd done for Pine, he allied it to college credit and quickly finished his Degree in Pokemon Studies. On the side he started to work on the VAN. With the help of reincarnated Void, he was able to get a working one. 

     Halfway into the third year. About 2.5 years from the end of his adventure, Emanuel finally fulfilled his promise to his friend Anton. Boston and he traveled to Alamos to set him free. In one way, Emanuel thinks he was just setting his spirit free, or maybe he traveled back to his land to continue to be the hero he knew he was. The bitter sweet departure left Emanuel with more questions than answers and an emptiness in his heart and head.

     During the fourth year, Emanuel finished his book and published it. After the book he completed the VAN and handed it off to his father to review. He was able to get it on the market and sell it. With his popularity in Voronis, he was able to sell pretty well there as well as in his home region of Kanto and Johto right next door. While his time was not spent setting up marketing campaigns and working on apps to make the VAN better, he set aside time to start planning his and Boston's wedding finally.

     With his extra wealth that he could call his own he set out and bought Snowpoint Sanctuary by year five. Making it into a home in Voronis for himself. Just as wedding plans and future ventures seemed to be falling into place, he got a call from Kurt. Finally checking in for a job he wanted Emanuel for. He made his way to the old Pokeball maker and was alerted that there was a strange occurrence in the old Library on Vanille Mnt. Since Kurt didn't have access, and Psi had been missing for years, he asked Emanuel to take Celebi and try to top a time rift from happening and becoming an issue.

     Returning to the Sanctum of Knowledge, after years of it being closed was surreal. However, its empty halls felt eerie and wrong. Upon finding the rift, it was too strong for even two Celebis. Unfortunately, Emanuel lost them both in the void. Gathering some help from another man with a small Dailga and Palkia they were able to close it. Thinking it was all over, Emanuel stood alone in the vastness of the Sanctum again. Only to witness another rift spit open and swallow him.

     Waking up in him familiar home at the top of Vanille, Emanuel almost thought it was all a dream. However, waiting for him to awaken was his old acquaintance Irena. She told him it had been 95 years since he'd been missing. His only clue to his survival was that he was Arceus touched. Meaning he'd fought the God and lived. She encouraged him to seek out the other Genesis Relic to try to return home. Emanuel, uncertain if she meant well or not, accepted her help and set off into a new Voronis to attempt to return home.

     In his travels he met up with Boston again. However, he was younger. Said he'd try to experiment with a way of changing bodies to prolong his life. Unsure if their events were linked, or if this was even his Boston, Emanuel agreed that they should help each other get home. They were joined by Eerie, Toby, and Hubert upon Professor Locust's request to explore Voronis once more. 

     This new adventure through Voronis is both familiar and different. Some things never change, and other are completely different. Sometimes Emanuel isn't even sure what to believe in the history that has passed. While he is enjoying his time traveling the island again, the goal of trying to return home weighs on his mind. That and new information surfacing that his appearance here may not have been a coincidence. Now being linked to a man calling himself, The Creator. Promising to defeat Emanuel like others before him. Not sure what to make of this, Emanuel presses on in his adventure. Now turning his attention to the fact that his family may yet still be alive.

Class Backgrounds

Researcher:
Researching Pokemon and the world around him comes naturally to Emanuel. He couldn't think of anything else he'd rather be doing. 

Watcher:
Sketching and watching things up close is how Emanuel learns. He feels like this way of studying is more intimate and allows him to absorb all the details. 

Aura Master:
After losing his ability in this new world, Emanuel felt naked without it. For now he has found a crutch to use, but hopes to tap into his teachings again and unlock his aura potential once more.

Warlock:
Realizing that he needed all the help he could get, Emanuel decided to start turning to the legendries of Voronis to aid him. Hoping that tapping into their power can help him in his journey to get home.
