02. Exeter

Exeter's fascination with history began in childhood, sparked by bedtime stories her grandfather used to tell her about their family's ancestral adventures in a small English town. This ignited a lifelong passion for the past, and she eventually pursued a degree in history. After inheriting a small, antiquated bookstore from her grandmother, Exeter transformed it into a treasure trove of history and literature. Her dedication to preserving the past and sharing its wonders with others is what sets her shop apart. Exeter is very old-fashioned, and can be found enjoying the novels of Jane Austen, the Brontë sisters, and (most importantly), Beatrix Potter. She enjoys going on picnics on nice summer days, and a good hike in autumn. She loves nothing more than curling up with a good book (preferably historical romance) and a hot cup of coffee.

Exeter's deep love for history is the driving force behind her character. She's a walking encyclopedia of historical facts, events, and figures. Her conversations are often peppered with intriguing anecdotes and lesser-known stories from the past. As the proud owner of a charming, dusty book store with her boyfriend Books, Exeter's life revolves around the written word.
