London is a somewhat vain and snarky former actress who is good at being dramatic. She is kind and generous, but can sometimes come across with an unintended haughty attitude. She's always grown up with a level of attention and can get a bit offended if she isn't the most popular one in the room. While this does paint her as a bit of a brat (entirely justly), she does make an effort to apologize and keep a lid on her behavior. Being spoiled as a child did her no favors.
She's a bit full of herself, but will do anything to help anyone at any chance she gets. She may be a bit uppity, but her heart is in the right place. She can sometimes be a tad over-judgmental (especially when it comes to fashion sense) but she probably won't say anything aloud about it.
She prides herself on her love of reading and constant search of knowledge, "See, I'm pretty and smart." (Even if, realistically, she's not particularly quick witted, just well read.) She is a lot of fun to be around, and though she doesn't really go to them anymore she was always known as the life of a party. She's great at making people smile and reading what people need in any given moment. If you need a friend? She got you. If you need someone on your side? Right there. You want someone to vent to? Oh she'll totally get angry with you, That guy you're angry at sucks.
She's a reliable person and any promise she makes she'll keep. Any secret you tell her is in a steel trap. You just need to ignore her attitude. She tries- but sometimes it's a swing and a miss.
- London's curse causes her to forget danger at times, a mental 'switch' that makes her immune to pain, and self preservation. Obviously, this can put her in harms way. Even if in hindsight she knows better. (Eg, walking off a cliff because she forgets it will kill her...burning her hand and not noticing it, touching sharp things because she doesn't realize its hurting her..) Like a mental fog that makes it hard for her to know when she's in danger.
- London obtained this curse thanks to an ancient artifact in the swamp...unfortunately, it also seems to have obliterated her memory of it too. She can't remember where...or what it was. Only the vague memory of a green light.
- Reading works as a sort of diffuse to her curse. While she's distracted in a book, she won't take any other actions, effectively letting her stay safe until the spell wears off.
- Episodes of her curse last around 30 minutes at a time. She's gotten into the habit of keeping a clip on her arm, when she realizes she can't feel the small pinch anymore- she knows to start reading or move to safety. This isn't an exact science, but it helps.
- Episodes happen at random, but there tends to be a few days between each one.
London is the daughter of a wealthy photographer, and it was through her father's company that she got into acting and modeling (Once an adult, of course), taking advantage of her natural charisma and charm to steal the hearts of plenty of fans both onscreen and off.
During a movie shoot in a remote country village, she wandered offset to explore the locale and accidently stumbled on some sort of cursed artifact that imparted an ancient curse upon her, cursing her to forget her own mortality at times, and as a result inadvertedly put herself in harms way. Without any other resources to address this, she turned to the villagers, begging for help. Most turned her away, until Iris allowed her inside and offered to do what she could.
While the local potions-maker tried to solve it...London became enamored with the village. Choosing to stay there in the quaint little forest town. It was quiet, and had its own charm. Plus, it was less dangerous than busy city streets.
Her fans were dissappointed, but London made this choice for herself. Of course, that meant trying to find someway to make herself useful in her new home.
She fumbled between a few different jobs around the village (Along with trying to find one that wasn't dangerous!) before settling in working at the small village library.

A witch knowledgeable enough about London's curse to search for a cure. She originally turned to her for help with her curse, but instead decided to stay with her, cure or not.
