Roy

Roy lived for years on the outskirts of Dievton, mistrusted by the townsfolk because of his size, quiet, brooding nature, and his status as an outsider. He would trade in pelts and game at the general store, but his aversion to drinking and bar atmospheres made it difficult for him to form relationships with locals. Everything changed when (the fire nation attacked) he met Sara, the baker's daughter, and he suddenly had a reason to stick around town for longer than it took to sell his merchandise and restock on essentials. Her father didn't like him much, but Sara got one of her uncles to take Roy under his wing, and he was able to apprentice as a carpenter.

His new work took him all across town, and his stoic facade slowly slipped to uncover a cheery and boisterous young man with a tender heart and hardworking hands. He eventually wore Sara's father down, and the pair were married. As of now, they still live above the bakery, but Roy is saving up every penny he can to one day buy land and build them a house all their own.
