Born and raised in a woodland orc tribe alongside her best friend Spitz. They got up to shenanigans together in their childhood, but that all but completely came to an end when Spitz started going on the trading route with his father and brothers at the age of 14. Lonna, on the other side, was gripped more tightly by her community and her mother who seemed much more interested in her marrying and bearing children than in her galivanting around getting in all kinds of trouble. Lonna sat through the housekeeping lessons and the courtship tips and the nagging for years to please her mother, but when Spitz returned five years later, she took her chances and ran off with him, overjoyed at the thought of regaining her freedom and her friend. Spitz was different now, polished and proper and with a tongue smoother than he realized, but there was still the twinkle in his eye when they put their heads together to hatch a plan.
It wasn't long after they'd arrived in Dievton that Lonna fell sick from some injuries she'd gotten in a bar tussle. She went to the apothecary for a remedy, and that's when she met Ella. Beautiful, radiant Ella, with hair like pink floss and a laugh like windchimes. Lonna had a lot of aches and pains after that. A little headache here, a little pinched shoulder there, trouble sleeping, shaky hands, a cut or two. Ella sold her her remedies with a smile in the corner of her mouth, but held her tongue, only telling Lonna to be more careful from now on.
When Ella mentioned an out of town trip, Lonna insisted on accompanying her because, after all, one couldn't be too careful on the roads in this day and age. Ella accepted, an amused look in her eye, and they left together. They bonded and went to some fancy ass gardens and there were butterflies and it was romantic as shit okay.
