As befitting of his title, he controls almost every aspect of the earth and the ocean, including the animals.
Voice of Nature
When not with Iarae, Vydall often wanders by himself in forests and woodlands.Lost travelers may sometimes catch fleeting,mirage-like glimpses of him (usually masked) as he silently leads them back towards the main road. However, most of the time he just sends one of the animals or his familiars to lead them back.
Telepathy
Unable to make physical contact with the Mirrors and Nephilims, Vydall is able to communicate with his Mirrors through telepathy. Although rare, he also communicates with Nephilims; usually only when necessary.
Ebbing Tide
All the rulers are able to judge souls based on their actions, and Vydall favors the hardworking, judging from the spirit and body. When you die, your soul meets with the Gods of Eight and they all judge you and put you in Limbo for trial. If you fail, Vydall turns your soul to stones left to slowly erode in rivers or by the sea.
OCCUPATION
The rulers of the Sky, Weather, Lands and Seas blessed Nephilims with emotions. Vydall maintains the balance of nature through destruction and creation; making plants grow, seasons change, mountains rise and fall, volcanoes erupt, and glaciers split.

The exact opposite of his wife Iarae, Vydall only talks with others when he needs to. Iarae speaks enough for both of them, he says.
His seemingly unflappable demeanor is probably the reason why Iarae plays so many tricks on him. In truth, he gets very uneasy when Iarae decides to literally ‘sweep him off his feet’ to go flying. Vydall is not as fond of the Nephilims as his wife is, preferring the company of his animals to them. It doesn’t mean he hates them though.
If Iarae is the ‘mother' of the other gods, he’s probably the father and peacekeeper.
EXTRA
Vydall favors those who know how to make most of the land; farmers, fishermen, craftsmen, etc. He himself likes to spend time carving things with his hands despite being able to will it into being without a thought. These carvings are often used as a template, brought into being and given Life to by Mysha.
