Street kid who was recruited into the Gladiolus Guild after a failed attempt to rob them. Instead of arresting him, they recognized his potential and offered him a place in their community, which he gladly accepted, quickly becoming an invaluable member with his quick wit and aptitude for magic. It wasn't long before he caught the eye of a fellow clan member, Marigold. The two became inseparable almost immediately, agreeing to be married mere months after meeting. Before they could go through with it, Marigold was murdered by Florence for an unknown reason. Forence denied the accusations but was convicted and punished regardless due to overwhelming evidence against her. A few years later, Florence led a Western attack on the Guild, leading to the deaths and captures of the majority of the clan, Covenant among the prisoners. He was imprisoned with the others for a short time, before being singled out by Florence and separated from them. Kept on his own, the only disruption to his solitude was Florence's occasional visits to test the extent of his healing magic, always leaving him with a few new scars. This continued for years until he began corresponding with Ellie, who had managed to discover his whereabouts and slip him messages. The two organized and carried out a successful prison break, freeing what was left of their clan. The survivors then focused their efforts on destroying what was left of their former prison, burning it to the ground in a great victory for the East.
