Thornstar is a large, masculine, clan leader with tan-colored fur, long sharp canine teeth, and somewhat dulled grey eyes. His fur is long and fluffy, quick to mat if he doesn't take care of it. After a flood that wiped out many cats, he had to survive with two of his children before getting back home. Due to those circumstances, he gained injuries that scarred his face and back, causing fur to no longer grow on those areas. He's grown out fur to form a fringe that he's had basically all of his life, he's never once tried to change it.
Thornstar keep a hawk's feather neatly placed in his chest fur as rememberance for the family he's lost. Due to getting older, he's a little bit chubby, but it's mainly fluff still. He often bears a soft, almost sorrowful, look on his face as he carries many burdens on his shoulders. He does show sad smiles often though, as to not worry his clanmates.

- NOMENCLATURE
- Thorn — His mother, Oda, named him Thorn due to a thorn she had gotten stuck in her paw a day prior to giving birth to him
- Feather — He had the suffix "Feather" due to his affinity to birds and love for collecting feathers.
- Star — He was given the suffix "Star" due to becoming the leader of AuroraClan and getting his nine lives.
- He was actually born a loner! Due to this beginning he still doesn't fully believe in StarClan, maybe he'll be proven wrong one day.
- He has a weird way of dealing with greif, as he was introduced to death of family members at a young age it's begun to make him numb to it. It scares him.
