Alethius (Ciel)

any pronouns. knows what pronouns are, but doesn't care. | gender is also a mostly foreign concept to ciel/alethius

alethius' disguise amongst the living. they usually control this body and their normal one ( aka. alethius. ) at the same time, and ciel will often zone out to manage his other body. they like to screw around with people and talk to others and take in the many changes that have happened. ciel is generally considered a different entity from alethius and vice versa but they have like the same??? memories?? or something? and alethius can influence/control ciel if they want? its weird to describe. alethius can basically spectate in ciel's eyes. and ciels info gets directly sent to alethius and viceversa. or smth.

- if you ask for their birthday they'll prob change the answer each time but. prob like. september 28th ( libra )

- smart as fuck. usually is 15 steps infront of everyone else. its to be expected cuz' yknow. they're a god. but yea.

- they haven't set foot on their world in a while. due to this their language is somewhat fancier and more eloquent ( but its also mixed with modern terms and slang he probably picked up on by talking to others and from overhearing people in both the upper realms where they rule, and also just in society when he's ciel. ), and also they seem to have many misconceptions about society and how the world works nowadays, and sometimes will say how different things were. for reference, in an rp, he once said cats laid eggs and had fourteen legs upon creation ( due to cats being a direct relative and disciple of alethius, hence they used to look 10 times more eldritch ( as, you know, alethius is cat-like but doesn't have any true form ) and were also horrifying demigods ) and when shown a normal cat he freaked out and pondered deleting society and restarting, saying something along the lines of "what have they done to my poor eldritch babies". so.

- they mostly have wind/air based powers ( specifically cold winds, so they could def do like. blizzard and snow based stuff ), but obviously, being god, they can do fucking anything. their power in ciels body is limited though. mostly because they like to have a limit because it makes them more creative in situations where having unlimited power would be a lot easier, and as a result, less fun. ciel has also stated it is "really goddamn boring" to be a god and have unlimited power.

- semirelated to the above, when physically close to them, they have a very... strong aura. its like how it feels when you're up very high and your heart drops. mix that with a vague chilly breeze and its like that. this aura expands and sometimes fills rooms, usually when they are meditating ( which they do often when theres nothing else to, and can do it for up to like weeks and months without rest if they want, and it usually makes the conditions in/around the area theyre meditating in very windy or cold or bad ), zoning out and controlling their other body, or using their powers.

- doesn't have much impulse control or remorse for his actions and kind of sees other living beings as toys for their amusement sometimes if theyre having a bad day. pushed a motherfucker into the water because they said god wasn't real to Actual Gods face. took so much satisfaction in this act. ciel wakes up every day and chooses to be this way .

- related to the above fact, kind of easy to anger. well not easy. he's usually the one pushing other peoples buttons. but if you know how you can probably annoy him enough if hes also having a not great day/

- wasn't an original design choice , just kinda did it on impulse, but she has vitiligo

- the wings he has near his back in the ref aren't actually visible most of the time i just kinda drew those without thinking. they obviously can be visibly tho and he can have a lot of wings. ofc he can add or change any part of his appearance but u kno what i mean

- has many different forms of this disguise. aka meaning that like any god, his form is not super consistent and can be drawn pretty different or with different features. mostly more or less eldritch / unnerving ( like having multiple eyes ), more cat-like vs more humanoid, etc.

- hands can either be cat paws that r the same color as his tail/ears, or just. yknow. normal hands. or how the hands are drawn in his ref. ( weird claw fingers )

- although they are cat-like, seem to represent more of a snow leopard or a lynx. so a snow lynx. i guess.

- main downside to them is they have cat instincts that can be pretty easily abused. they kind of act like a stray but clever cat just looking to get by so they can be bribed easily
