Nova is easily startled, nervous and quite wimpy to start off. He doesn't react very well when put on the spot and is easily grumpy at timesbut he's just as easy to impress. He always tries to hear others out, and see situation to their fullest extend even if it doesn't feel like it will end well for him. He gives the benefit of the doubt most of the time, unless he's already in a bad mood or has been led to believe someone is just bad luck.
He has a lot of anxiety related to his upbringing, his use of magic and how to handle people but he's willing to try and learn and improve and realizes it's unfair to blame others for his own short comings and inner issues.
Nova loves origami and often makes small stars to calm his nerves, or after a bad event to try and "let go of it" it works relatively well and he keeps most of the stars he makes to remind him that even thought he felt anxious or defeated so many times, he still made it past it and most of the concerns seem irrelevant now.
