Profile

Multiverse theory dictates that there are infinite universes exactly like ours. Every universe contains a change; from the tiniest detail to the biggest mistakes. If you can imagine it, it exists somewhere... This affects some of us more than others.
 Parth Misra is the entire gauntlet of human morality explored in a single man. There's a Parth that's a saint and one who's an absolute monster, of course, but those two aren't very interesting. Our stories revolve around the Parths that occupy the space in-between. They do their best... for better or worse.

He's basically the same person in every universe, but this isn't about nature vs. nurture. This is about choices.

Some constants:

  • Parth is always brilliant in some form. His intelligence type varies.
  • No matter how humble his beginnings, he will find a way to the top. The people he crushes to get there varies.
  • He always has a daughter. She's always beautiful and innocent. She always dies.
  • (she doesn't always stay dead.)
  • (this won't be the story you think it will be)

  As one of the few Parths who did not pursue a career in science, this man doesn't even have delusions of being altruistic. He doesn't wish for the misery or death of others, but their happiness and comfort isn't on his list of priorities.

  He doesn't talk about his past. Parth has spent the past 20 years clawing his way to the top of the corporate ladder. He lives the good life; huge houses, fast cars, pretty women. He married himself a trophy wife in the form of a French musician. A viola player named Geneviève. His wife's music is so important to her that she insisted they name their daughter, their first and only child, Viola. Due to their money and status, doctors caught Viola's disease early and she survived it. This Parth was on top of the world.

  Parth wasn't evil, but he certainly wasn't nice. He held high standards for both his company and his home... standards Viola often fell short of. A neglectful mother and an emotionally abusive father weren't ideal. Still, who thought disobeying would make him angry enough to strangle her?

  All things considered, this Parth is not as vain as you might expect. He's neither very tall nor short, thin nor fat, but there is a certain strength in the way he carries himself. If you attack him you can expect one hell of a fight. He has a long face with round eyes, a hooked nose, and heavy brow. His skin, hair, and eyes are all warm, earthy tones. He's going grey around the temples/forehead but let's himself age with grace. In his opinion, there's nothing more pathetic than trying to fight time with hair dye.

  There are wrinkles around his mouth which reflect years of smiling day to day. The lack of crow's feet around his eyes betray how often these smile weren't genuine. The lines around his forehead and between his brows show how quick he is to anger.

  He dresses well and with modesty. After all, money shouts but wealth whispers. Classy.

[DISLIKES] form over function/expense for expense's sake. pride in those he thinks doesn't deserve it. wasted time and effort.
