Theodore Shazo

Theo is a junior at Rydell High School. He's played the bass drum since he was in 6th grade, and he loves it! He marches bass 5, and he's the bass drum section leader. He's very close with his family, and is a genuinely happy person. Although he jokingly complains about being single often, Theo doesn't get crushes very often; however, when he does get them, they're very big! 

Theo is a huge sweetheart and easily makes friends with everyone. He is a very trusting and trustworthy person, so many in the band come to him when they just need to vent. He's happy to listen! 

Although he takes marching band seriously, he also thinks that practices should be ridiculously fun. He's a fantastic marcher, but gets in trouble during practices sometimes because he goofs off. He forgets that just because he picks up drill very quickly doesn't mean that those around him do, too, so his goofing off can distract others. However, whenever he gets snapped at by the band director or another member (usually Fox), he will spend the rest of practice quiet and very serious.

When not doing band, Theo is a diver for the school dive team. The team practices all year long in the indoor pool, but Theo can only join in during the spring semester. While the rest of the drumline will partake in winter drumline, Theo prefers to spend his time in the pool. He isn't the best diver on the team, but he definitely isn't the worst, either, and he enjoys it a lot. Sometimes he feels bad for leaving his drumline friends for dive in the spring, but it's the only way he can give time to the two things he adores: band and diving.
