Mori

An angel that took up a scythe and became one of the many reapers that roam the world to spread death.
Guardian angels need their own guardian angels around him.

The Grim Reaper, Death, Thanatos.
Countless deaths, yet everyone always believes it's just one in control of it all.
In actuality there is a department in the afterlife that takes care of this. Who dies next, where do they go, give them a second chance. It's all handled in this small office-like building, where reapers and guardian angels go together to learn about the fates of countless souls in the realm of the living.
Mori is one such reaper, though he is the only angel to be serving as one, and so he was tasked with reaping only those who were destined to go to Heaven and to guide and protect them there upon dying.
He does his job well, and he enjoys it enough.
Yet one can't help but wonder that something is very, very wrong.

Notes: I had been toying with the idea of another Death character for a little while now. I had plenty of ideas, but no way of connecting it into one character, and I didn't want to make several characters. I saw this design, though, and thought he'd be interesting to house most of my ideas! It was his weapon that really pushed me to make him, though! Fleur is a weapon I thought of when I was a kid, and I completely forgot about it until I made Hopper's weapon, hence this running theme of two weapons you can combine.
The more I wrote about Mori, the more I got a villain vibe from him. He's still a big WIP, but I'm interested in how he turns out!

Personality: Mori is mysterious, though more so creepy. Nobody knows what he's thinking, he has a thin smile that never reaches his eyes. He enjoys teasing and talking but it's always as though he doesn't truly enjoy it. There's something ominous about him, something... deadly. It's as though you wouldn't want to see him angry.

Weapons:
- Fleur de Lys - A pair of scythes that Mori controls, with one controlling fire and the other controlling ice. They can be combined into a dual-headed scythe with a poisonous blade sticking out from between them. Their combined look is the reason behind their name.

Non-Human Abilities:
- Regeneration - Though he can be killed, Mori heals at a quick pace. In fact, some normally fatal attacks could be okay with his ability.
- Increased Abilities - His strength and speed are dramatically better than the average human's.
- Flight - His wings allow him to fly.
- Sight - When he has his blindfold on, he can see the times remaining on people.

Voice: Elegant yet sinister; Ian McKellen

Drawing Details: Mori likes fashion and tends to wear wardrobes similar to those seen in the Late Victorian Era. His wings are large and white. He doesn't wear his blindfold often. Important details are that he usually has a thin smile, and that his pupils are skulls.

Fun/Extra Facts:

- His pupils are in the shapes of skulls.

- His scythe is capable of reaping even angels.

- His scythes are mainly there to protect souls from those trying to take them.

- However, it's rumored that they've been used on even guardian angels.

- Sometimes people swear they hear faint bells whenever Mori approaches.

- No one knows why he joined the reapers.

- One thing known is that Mori is fascinated with the process of death, though also shows a disdain for it.

- Loves tea. Will take tea breaks in the middle of a reaping.
