Biography

"Webber" has been an internet vigilante for a few years, fighting the same fight Amvira has, but for longer. From his home computer, he could write computer programs with supernatural effects, and fought against injustices in Dresserton without even leaving his house. He's hacked into the computers of various criminal organizations and repeatedly sabotaged their efforts. He's tracked Amvira too, making sure she truly was intent on fighting the good fight. Of course, his actions haven't gone entirely unnoticed.

Still, it ended up being Webber who reached out to Amvira. He needed her help to fight a literal "creepypasta" monster; a demon summoned and bound to a web server, that became a deadly urban legend that travels through IRC channels and deepweb sites. Initially declining her offer to join her faction, he eventually changed his mind when he recieved word of a mysterious cult that erupted in Dresserton. Instead of sitting behind a computer, he formed a new setup to bring his skills to a physical battlefield.

Trivia

In-Game Fighting Style

  • Although he does most of his work alone behind a computer, Webber is actually very sociable and extroverted...
  • ... but he IS ultimately a workaholic, so he still doesn't go out much.
  • When Webber was a kid, he wanted to make video games. Unfortunately, the video games he created were also enchanted, and tended to leak into real life in potentially life-threatening ways.
  • Webber plays a lot of Dwarf Fortress, and wishes he could mod it, but the same problems arise.
  • Webber wears two pairs of pants / underwear at the same time, and the pants he wears on his front legs are always "backwards"
  • Secretly subscribed to "Fuckable Spiders," (LINK SFW) a porno magazine made by tsuchigomos, for tsuchigomos.
  • Webber's not in great physical shape. While many OoH characters are naturally fat and also healthy, Webber's weight comes from his somewhat unhealthy lifestyle. With exercise he would be noticeably thinner, but still fairly chubby.
  • Webber likes to give fake names when ordering food and coffee.
  • Programs in Anaconda

Webber is a tricky but potentially very powerful support hero. With strong single-target buffs, and an even stronger ability to shut down single targets, you definitely want to bring Webber along for boss fights.

He's a little weak before his promotions, which are Hacker and Webmaster. Hacker ups his debuff capabilites, while Webmaster gives him more support power.
