"Rogu-kun was a plain boy, but he was so plain... it was scary."
- Rogu's Elder Brother
He lived a normal life in the city; he made friends in school and maintained a good relationship with his family. Though Rogu disfavored standing out, nor hating being the school's "lonely boy." At the age of 10 he developed his favoritism towards spiders secretly, where he'd gather up a large number of spiders and kept them in his den.
Even though he was a sociable individual, his peers consider him as almost mysterious. Many try to pry into his life outside of school, but almost nothing left his lips - especially the spiders that created a vast home inside of his closet.
"He's so popular all of a sudden! All the girls think he's really handsome. For me though? I don't know, something about him kind of scares me.."
- A Classmate
Kurokumo's did nothing except doing superbly well in highschool and often partook in sports and clubs, especially Kendo and fencing. He was a popular boy among the school girls and a well-behaved student among his teachers.
He never expected himself to be the center of attention in his campus, and many of it brought unnecessary attention. Rogu ended up getting into fights he never ask for due to drama among romantic couples or the jealousy of his male classmates.
Rogu purposely tried to outcast himself from his classmates. He'd constantly occupy himself with club activities and his studies. Whenever school was over, he'd work at a part time job in a nearby mall selling designer clothing.
Kurokumo became attached to an older gentleman that often visited the store he worked at, a upholding and handsome Yakuza man.
"Rogu-san? The man is rarely as his base. And I wouldn't dare trying to find him, because his boys would creep up behind you first before you could find the Patriarch. But if you're really curious: he's probably eating something at Smile Burger right now."
- Mogamachi Oda
He remained friends with the Yakuza even after he graduated high school. He left at his part time job and took his friend's offer working as a manager of one of his Host Clubs, allowing him to afford the expenses and tuition of his education and partaking schools in the fashion industry.
However his connection with his friend led him to a dark path, to a point where Rogu had no choice but become Yakuza himself; being in the same family as his older friend, the captain and eventual Patriarch of said group. However, his friend being the patriarch only benefited him; giving him the time and money to be able to become a fashion designer.
Yet his family was one of the smaller groups, and unfortunately one of the weakest families there was in the Yamatando clan. It didn't take long for the high-ranking officers to decide that it was best to disband his family.
The disband led to the death of his beloved Patriarch and longtime friend. And the death affected Rogu greatly, where he decided that he'd remain in the clan for his friend's sake and climb the ranks. He used the fashion industry to make his name around the world - including the dark world of the Yakuza itself.
- Rogu had a weird obsession with spiders when he was a kid.
- Somehow became a popular boy in highschool, which was tiring for him. So he stayed away from everyone and decided to work part time.
- Met a Yakuza while working, became his friend and role model.
- Worked for him as a manager in a Host club, but shortly became a Yakuza himself all while he was still in school to become a fashion designer.
- His friend became the patriarch and Rogu joined his family, however the family was short-lived and eventually disbanded under the orders of the high-ranking officers.
- His friend died after the disbandment, and Rogu wanted to continue to live as a Yakuza for his sake. Used his title as a rising legendary fashion designer to help climb up the ranks of the clan.
