Sakura Izumi

   Sakura was born in the US from a family of two different races, one being an angel and another human. However, she was born with defected wings making her unable to fly. Instead of moping about it, she instead became more and more interested in magic, something that of a closely guarded secret by her parents, is something that has been a part of the family for a very long time. With the help of her father, she began learning how to use magic and how dangerous it was when used poorly. At age 15, she was given a wand, something safe for her to use magic with after proving herself to be mature enough to handle magic.

   But growing up she had a lot of insecurities about herself, mainly with how she saw herself as a pitiful angel because of her wings compare to her father and his side of the family. She kept yelling at people, acting very bitter and saying "they don't understand me," almost blinded by the fact she's not a normal angel. It took a while but mainly from the help of her mother, she was able to come to terms with how she wasn't as good as the other angels on her father's side of the family and realize the things she can do that they can't; like easily hiding her wings where as the others need some sort of magical aid to help hiding the wings.

  It was during high school where she ended up meeting a shy person with a blue hoodie, pink hair and blood red eyes. She pushed Sakura away at first but Sakura was more or less determined to at least get to know her when she kept seeing her alone and even picked on. One day, there was this confutation between the pink haired woman and some of the high school bullies. Sakura stepped in to help her, though ended up getting beaten up for it. She ultimately gets back up and just says "are you ok?" to the girl she would later know as Cynthia. After that, the two became acquaintances but then slowly form a budding friendship throughout their school years and helping her with understanding magic, later on ended their school years on them officially dating. 

   When she was 18 years old, Sakura decided to try out some new and more complex spells, feeling more and more confident while knowing more about magic. She tried to do a simple spell at a beach, manipulating the waves and possibly the waves. However, the spell she ended up doing made her have a "mermaid curse" or sorts. She still has her human form but she now when she touches water she gets a merform instead. Ever since then as she teaches Cynthia more about magic, Cynthia helps out Sakura with adjusting to her new mermaid perk.

   Now these days, she is almost bonded to her MerVampire Partner Cynthia. Almost everywhere they go they seem to follow each other: Land, Sea, even the Air with Cynthia's wings. And when it comes to magic, while they do tend to get into some mishaps, they are quite a powerful duo.
