Medric comes off as something of an enigma to others. His magical powers are rumored to be vast and nearly infinite, but it is difficult to connect the legends to the man upon meeting him. Rather than coming off as imposing, he comes off as very approachable. He is calm, kind, and patient, and has had numerous individuals open up to him. Even those who are normally very guarded. If they are unable to acknowledge his magical strength, they are still left with a favorable impression of the man once he leaves.
His tendencies to leave are also well known. Medric is rarely seen, which feeds into some of the rumors about him. There is so much going on in his mind that he is almost in a constant state of wanderlust.
