Alex is a purebred german shepherd. She comes from a very prestigious and long line of working german shepherd dogs. Her father, Creedo, was considered one of Australia's best attack and apprehension police dogs. Her mother, Diesel, was also a police dog but was primarily trained to detect drugs and other contraband. Alex was born into a litter of five puppies; unfortunately, she was the only female in the litter.

Her brothers, Butch, Creed, Damon and Exo, were all raised to be police dogs. At the same time, Alex was considered undesirable due to her sex. Alex had always dreamed of working for the police as an Attack and Apphrension K9, just like her father. While her brothers went off to train, Alex was left alone in her kennel. This broke Alex's heart. Just because she was a female, she was considered worthless. This discrimination made Alex even more determined to prove everyone wrong.

Alex was accepted into the police dog academy alongside her brothers through many ups and downs, much to her father's hesitance. She was bullied and mistreated due to her sex, but that did not stop her. Academy was harsh, but Alex kept going. Eventually, Alex started to outperform some male students in the academy, and this caused Alex to become a little cocky. This cockiness attracted the attention of Scout, one of the academy head trainers. The older male german shepherd took this as an opportunity to publicly humiliate Alex. He intentionally set her up for failure and punished her.

Due to all the bullying and cruel treatment, Alex became depressed. The passion that had been burning inside of her started to die out. Eventually, Alex was kicked out of the academy by her father, stating that he was proud of her for making it so far. He made sure to mention that she would never become a police dog because she was a girl.

After being kicked out of the academy, Alex sat sadly in her kennel for weeks. She was unsure what to do with her life. Her lifelong dream had been crushed; maybe her father was right. Perhaps she was never cut out for police work. She slept all day and all night; that's all she wanted to do.

One day Scout approached her kennel, apologising for his cruel treatment of Alex. Alex countered this with aggression. She didn't want to talk to the dog that had contributed to the fact she washed from the academy. Scout told Alex he tried to help train her because he saw potential in her, but she brushed this off and ignored him. Eventually, Alex realised that this was her shot and allowed Scout to help her train daily, privately away from all the other students.

The one-on-one sessions helped Alex florish to the point where her hard work was noticed, and she was offered a place back in the academy. She kicked ass in the academy, outperforming many male classmates and eventually graduated as an attack and apprehension K9, thanks to Scout's help. She was the first female Attack and Apprehndion K9 in all of Australia.

Shortly after her graduation, Alex's parents died while on a call, leaving Alex and her four brothers behind. The police dog unit was mourning, losing the best police K9 on the force and a vital detection dog. More police dogs were called on to active patrol due to the loss.

By pure luck, Alex was paired with Scout, an awkward partnership at first. Alex and Scout often fought, but eventually, through work, they became closer. Their relationship went from mentor and student to partner and best friends within months. Alex and Scout's personalities really started to flourish and shine. Alex learnt that Scout was quite playful, cocky and goofy while she tended to stay professional, serious and confident. While they were almost polar opposites, they worked well together in a team and were eventually permanently paired.

As Alex continued to work for the K9 unit, she was eventually promoted to sergeant for all her hard work. Other dogs started to compare her to her father, stating she was one of the best K9s of all time. This made Alex so proud. Alex was sure to rub this promotion into Scout's face, but Scout didn't mind. He just reminded her how she got to be in that position.

Eventually, while working in Canada for a special case, Alex met a Canadian police Doberman named King. While it was looked down upon for a german shepherd of her bloodline to fall in love with another dog breed, Alex couldn't help but feel the connection. Eventually, Alex and King officially became mates.

  • Has heterochromia. Left Eye, Magenta (#FC00FF). Right Eye, Lilac (#D9A7E4). Colour can be lightened slightly.
  • Likes to exaggerate the fact she is Australian. Unironically likes to use the words "G'day" and "Mate" a lot.
  • Dislikes any type of public affection. She only likes affection from people she trusts.
  • Is scared of fires due to how her parents died. Doesn't admit it though. Only Scout knows of this fear.
  • Can sometimes be too overly confident and get herself in trouble. Is sometimes a little too risky.

Work Partner/Best Friend

Scout

As Scout says, he is Alex's "Partner in Fighting Crime". While their relationship started as quite toxic, Scout helped Alex get to where she is today. They are now best friends and trust each other with their lives. They are inseparable and the best K9 team out there.

King

Alex and King first met when Alex travelled to Canada to help the Canadian police force with a special mission. It was love at first sight. Even though cross-breed pairings are looked down upon, Alex could not help it. King and Alex have four puppies.

Creed

Creed is Alex's favourite brother. The two are close. Creed helped support Alex while she was being bullied in the academy. Alex helped Creed become a drug detection dog after he washed out of the academy himself.
