Canterwit are magical fairy creatures which represent a unique type of flower! At the start of Spring, they leave their home realm of Anther to travel to Earth and grow their flower, and by Autumn they are exhausted and return home to recharge their magic. As their magic is strengthened by positive emotions, they participate in uplifting activities to prepare them for the next Spring cycle! To encourage their passions and friendships, Canterwit align themselves into one of four houses for friendly competiton and allyship among fellow housemates.
Hazel is a whimsical, kind, joyful and enthusiastic character who loves experiencing new places and new experiences. She's travelled across all sorts of realms during her lifespan as a fairy.
Hazel is a fairy who has lived for many, many years - she looks a lot younger than she actually is. She greatly enjoys travelling from place to place, and considers Anther, the realm of the Canterwit, to be her home. She is an enthusiastic, kindhearted and well-meaning fairy, without a single bad bone in her body unlike the assumptions of fairies made in storybooks. She doesn't really understand "trends" on Earth and dresses in a cottagecore style befitting 1800s England. In addition to this, she's also pretty useless with technology. There is a pleasant, fragrant, rose-scented aroma around her at all times.

The flower fairy that Hazel is - a creature called a Canterwit - is magical creature that represents a unique type of flower. This flower is the very essence of who they are, and it is the flower that they grow when they travel from place to place in order to power up their magic from beings passively enjoying their flowers. In Hazel's case, the flowers that she grows are pink roses. Canterwit are creatures capable of using magic, which allows them to cross over from realm to realm. They also use their magic for defensive and healing purposes, if necessary. Canterwit can transform, which is how they disguise themselves and blend in. In Hazel's case, she greatly enjoys visiting Earth and living among humans during the periods that she visits to grow flowers.

Many moons ago, her home realm of Anther was attacked by dragons who wanted to steal their magic. It lead to a war between both sides in order for the Canterwit to protect their home. With the help of their Goddesses, the Canterwit won against the dragons, but not without great loss. All of Hazel's friends and family that she had known for hundreds of years had perished during the war - set ablaze by the dragons. As a result, she became a recluse - and feared making friends in case they disappeared. She struggles with loneliness. Over time, she's gradually come out of her shell, but many scars remain.
