Perrin is a happy person, despite all the wrong which has befell them. In fact they see all the bad which happened to them as a secret blessing. Some might call that radical acceptance but to them it was the best thing to happen to their lives. When the traveling and god of lost souls Polaris took pity on them they were given a new life through new eyes. They haven't been lost a day in their lives after that and used such a gift to help others as they can. Sometimes they are called upon by Polaris to help lost souls find their ways much like the Willow-O-Wisps of old, other times they simply give the treasure to which Polaris bestows upon them to those in need. For money and gems is a concept they think little of and would rather give such trinkets to those who are in need. 
To some Perrin seems gullible, easily tricked and robbed by their blindness. However Perrin is more cunning then they let on. They simply allow themselves to be swindled so that others can have the money to which they seek.
After this however they are just a kind soul. A traveler that if not under a task by their deity will go and wonder, or spend time with their partner. Barlow, a very sweet man, a trader just like what Perrin always dreamed of being before their life took a turn. They often love to cuddle into their chubby lover and make up ideas as to what Barlow really looks like, only to often times get laughed at by him.
